I tried to look through this forum to see if this question had already been answered, but I didn't find it. I'm sorry if this has been asked before. Basically I was wondering if there is anyway to search the shops for either a specific item or groups of items. This came up because I found a shirt that I really liked and then wanted to find some kind of skirt or pants to go with it, but I had to go through every shop and just about every item in those shops to find anything.

I have found that, but I don't think it has all the items that there are. I know I found this really neat item in a shop that I wanted to see how it would look with my other clothes and the program didn't have it. Also, the program that I found in the forum doesn't have the names of the items on it, so it can be harder to find. And, even if I did know what the item was in the shops I still have a problem remembering what item was in what shop on what page. Do I just have a really bad version of what you are talking about? Is there any program like that which tells you where to find the item that you look at?

It doesn't have them all but you can add items to it yourself. You can see the name a price of the items that are on the avi in the MAC, you need to go to 'file' -> 'view item info' but the only way to find which shop its in is to go to the txt file and find it there. What I usually do if I know the item name I'm looking for in the shops I'll do ctl+f to bring up firefox's search function and type it in that will tell you if its on that page without having to scroll down yourself. That does cut a little time off the searching. Same would work in the txt file.

On the MAC:
To find out the stores of an item, you can either use the Search by Store in the actual MAC, and go through store name by store name looking for the item's photo OR go the the "items.txt" file in the MAC folder, and use ctrl+F (or Command+F on a Macintosh) and type in the item name. The store names are abbreviated, and if you want, I can PM you the abbreviations, and you can learn from there. (just added a bit more to what Jeanie said)

All the items are not in the MAC, this is true, but it's currently being updated by Blair Rose.
She is going as fast as she can, but she is currently learning java.
To add items yourself check out this post. The only hard part is some of the coding, which Donna kindly explained for me when I first learned here.

PM me with any more questions.
