I looked through the FAQs for the answer and I couldn't find it, so hopefully someone can clear up my confusion.

To help explain my question I'll use an example:

On the Poetry Forum I posted a thread for one poem and titled it Masks, now I want to post more poems on this forum. Can I make another thread for these poems or do I need to post under my first original thread?

In the poetry forum and many parts of the literary forum in general, you can only have one thread to post your works in. Same goes for Quest & Exchange forums, only one per user.

In General/Community discussion you can have as many as you like so long as they have a discussion point. You can have numerous Roleplays in the Roleplay section. One on One requests is the only place that it's recommended to have only one thread.

Does this answer your question? I went into more detail than the literary forum because you said you were using poetry as an example. If there's a forum in particular I haven't mentioned that you'd like to know I'll be glad to help.

Yep, each user is allowed to create only one thread in Poetry. This is because most people tend to write quite a few poems at a time. If we let everyone make a new thread for each new piece, then the subforum would be completely flooded by only a few people at a time. :yes:
