Hi there..
I am just making an inquiry on behalf of a friend of mine on here, *Haruko Ume* seeing she can barely get on herself these days.

she recently logged on the other day & it told her she was *banned*
so she made a new account & contacted me.

I dont beleive she did anything wrong, so i went to her profile to find out if it was true..
But where it normally says *banned* on the account, under the user name, It said *dead account holder*

can someone please explain this to me?

Dead account holder means that their account was deactivated due to an email that bounced back. She needs to contact [email protected] to get it fixed.

Ok.. thanks...
that's still really strange, cause she has been a member for over a year now..
so why would it have taken that long?

When they send out like Newsletters or emails for an event announcement or something. If it bounces back the account will be deactivated. Which is why it is good to keep your email active. =)

so it only happens if the email address was deactivated from inactivity..
righto then..

It also happens if people mark our emails as spam. If the banned notice she received gave no reason for the ban, then that's likely to be what happened as those de-activations are automatic :yes:

Haruko Ume was not banned. It is in the dead account profile. In order to fix this you must email [email protected]
