Role Plays

I have a question...

I am making this Role play and it does this weird thing:
I made the first post [intro]
Then I go to post the second post [rules]
BUt for some reason it puts the two posts together..
on the older rps I made it never did this..
Is it going to do this from now on or is it just me?

Please help <3

There is a system in place that automatically merges double posts from the same account. It is flawed, and staff are aware of the problem and are working on fixing the problem.

This one has answered your question though:

It is an automatic system that merges your posts.

The only way around it currently is to wait 5 hours between posts.

Oh I see
thank you so much <3

Actually, there is a method to override the double post feature, it was put into place the same time the double post merging feature came to play.

To do that, just click on "Go Advanced" before submitting your post and check the box which says "Override double post" and there you go.

Okay, two threads in a row about this, plus the handful that have already been made. If this isn't in the FAQ, it needs to get there tout suite.

It's explained in the rules, Kin :)

Cool. I'll just link there, then. :)

edit: Come to think of it, are you sure that's the best idea? When I think "What is up with this board feature?" I don't intuitively think "Oh, it must be in the rules."

Isn't that why we have a FAQ thread and a software handbook?

Oh?

I was not aware that a fix has been put in. Thank you for clarifying this. :D

It can be added to the FAQ too, just not by me at the moment as I'm 80% die and not trusting myself to edit things without borkage.
