need help with subscriptions
 

lately i havn't been getting the instant email notifiactions like i subscribbed for in the threads i'm participating in. I also want to know how i can unsubscribe to threads that are no longer alive without searching through all of the other threads. (shouldn't there be a page of the threads you're subscribbed to and bottons to unsubribe if you want to? i think it would be a little easier.)

thank you. i was able to unsubscribe to threads that are dead. but this still doesn't help the fact that the instant notifications aren't working.

Arn't the moderators and what not suppose to be looking at this and at least say "hey, nothing we can do" or something???

TearRose, I am sure that at one point or another, staff will come here and reply. ;) However, this thread has not even been up for a full 24 hours so far. Staff has a lot of things to do and unfortunately, they can't be everywhere all the time.

As to the topic at hand, I have never noticed such a thing, but then again, I don't use the mail notification option.

However, if you go to 'Account', then Edit Options, you can check Default Thread Subscription Mode - perhaps you accidentally changed it to 'no notification'? That's all I can think of.

The instant notifications is working as designed. I tested it throughout the day today. I received the message for the thread I subscribed to on my rocketmail account just fine, and it appeared from Menewsha Mail.

I then changed my email to my hotmail account thinking perhaps it was an issue with hotmail but received it there as well.

Your email account hasn't bounced anything back. Is there anything in your junk mail or delete items folder from Menewsha Mail?

No there isn't, I check to make sure. and i already unsubscribed and re-subscribed just to make sure i accidently didn't click the "no notification" botton.
