I don't think any of those guides cover the shops or how to put on clothes, but those are pretty self explanatory. But I'll go over them real quick for you.
In the stores, next to an item are two buttons. One is a coin, which you can click to buy the item now (but don't worry, there'll be a confirmation screen after that, so don't worry about accidental clicks), and a cart icon to add it to your cart. That's good for making big purchases all at once or for "bookmarking" an item so you don't have to dig through the stores to find it once you can afford it.
Then, to put on an item you've purchased, just click "Inventory" on that blue bar up top. Click on the item and tada! It's equipped! Though depending on what browser you're using (Menewsha works best in Firefox), you may need to click the item a few times or in different spots on the thumbnail.
