I was bidding on an item earlier today and I won the auction, but I never received the you won auction PM. Even though I didn't get the PM my mailbox says that I have one new PM and there is nothing there. I tried deleting the PMs that I have gotten today, but it didn't change anything. It's still telling me I have one new PM.

Have you tried checking the very first page of your PMs? I believe someone else encountered a similar glitch where they received a PM that was labeled as new but had a very old sent date. Might be worth checking.

That's the thing. I only have one page of PMs because I cleaned out my inbox last week.

Hmm... Did you try checking your other boxes (sent box, outbox, saved etc.)? That's very odd.

It's probably a bug that will go away eventually. We have a similar problem with report notifications, where the message on the dashboard will hang around and hang around, even if there's no report there. It does that for us if we click on a report message in a tab that's been open a while and the report's been dealt with already and is no longer actually there. Could you have done something similar?

I guess that is possible, but I just figured it out I think. There is a message without a title at the bottom of my inbox and the date on it is 12-31-1969 07:00 PM. Yay for messages from the past, lol. Anyway it let me delete the strange message so the problem is fixed. Thanks for your help.
