I'm not sure if it's just my internet connection/computer or what, but every time I visit Menewsha, and there is a new Private Message waiting for me, on the little pop-up I always click "OK" to view and then click "Cancel" to view in the current tab. This always, without fail, results in me taken to an error screen that says "Connection Closed by Server." I then must go back to Menewsha and open the PM manually. I have tried also clicking "OK" to view and then clicking "OK" to view in another tab, and the same thing happens in the new tab. I don't know why this is, but it's starting to annoy me. It consistently does this.

I would like to state that this does not happen when I am already on Menewsha. It only happens when I go to Menewsha from another website, by typing in the URL, or by clicking a bookmark. If I am already on Menewsha and receive a PM, I have no difficulties viewing it.

Is this happening to anyone else? Also, is there anything I can do about it? If it is happening to others, is it a known issue?

I've never heard of this specific problem before, so if there are other users experiencing it, speak up plox!
I'm not a techie, but it sounds like some sort of disconnect in the redirecting process/hopping between notifications. I'm not sure if that would be a browser problem or mene problem.

This happens to me.

If I go onto Mene from a different site and click to view a private message via the pop up box, it takes me to a "reload this webpage" later page. So I just come out and go into my mailbox manually.

Not just you. It happens to me too. I do what Cassie does and just go in through the mail box manually.

Well I usually forget that it won't work until after I've already clicked to view it.

It's probably because you're trying to view something private without the site being able to see that you're on. Does that make sense? It's like you're climbing in the window instead of coming through the front door :ninja:

Trying to go straight to your inbox without accessing the site itself first is going to set off security issues

I guess that makes sense. But then that begs the question as to why it's even an available option.

Not that I'm questioning the way you guys run things. *Bows to the greatness of Inso and his Pink Neenjas*

Hey, that's just a default software option that I don't even use, nothing to do with me :ninja:

 I wasn't criticizing, jelly! I was just amused with the fact that the option exists even though it contradicts itself. XD I didn't say it was your fault or anyone else's.

If the default option wasn't there for when you first log into the site, it also wouldn't be there after you've been on for a little while, or at least not without extensive coding. That's my guess on why it's there.

Maybe the problem is from the pop up? I've never had that enabled because I find it superfluous to requirements :ninja:

I didn't even know you could disable the pop-up window... :ninja:

Also it took me a good five minutes to think of what the opposite of enable was...
