Okay - I did ask a admin this question. But they haven't responded to me. So thought I'd put this out there for the mods and whoever else to see.

I want to start a pokemon fanclub thread/hangout.
I play myself on Nintendo DS & there are fans who play the actual card game or enjoy the series etc. So it would be nice to talk too fans on here as other then FB this is where I hang out lol.

Basically what I wanna know is can we ask for trades for our pokemon on here.
This is strictly Nintendo to Nintendo - Pokémons & items only. No mene items are going to be exchanged at all. I also would like to be able to give away freebie pokemons and stuff in my thread for those that play Nintendo ds.

Possible? Or not?

I should think that you could simply start a topic in the vidya gaems forum, or even just make a hangout thread in Hangouts.

If you're not actually dealing with any kind of Mene stuff, and you're not sending people to some third-party site for your own benefit (like those games where you get people to click referrer links), then you should be able to just do it.

A lot of the people here have non-Mene hobbies in common, and I'm pretty sure it'd be fine to do what you're talking about. I'd just make sure it's all legit by the rules and then hey. Just keep it fun!

Well, since that is a primary aspect of the pokemon games I'd say it's probably permitted. Some pokemon can't evolve unless they are traded. Plus I believe you get to see the stats and such before a trade right? (It's been ages since I traded)

I think as long as it's legitimate trades not my lv 2 ratatta for your lv 100 golden magikarp it should be fine.

lol I don't care :) Video games are probably ok.
just don't start selling stuff for real money... you know the drill Roachi, :)
