I was looking through contributions section and it said paypal or mail in, and then it listed the mail in option was for those who do not have paypal or cannot donate mobily.

is this still an option or out of date?

I believe it is out of date. I think a long while back it had some issues, but I don't know if those were ever resolved. Hopefully a mod will be able to address this :)

Paypal is definitely one of the better methods, but I know mailing for mennies works as well.

Paypal is however very safe, if that is of any concern. I have been using it for a very long time.

Mobile donations are no longer an option I'm afraid, due to some problems we had a while back with our mobile donation provider. I think there was an announcement by Inso (or one of the AAs about this). We are trying to contact the mail in person about the mail in option, but I'm pretty sure this is still valid, stay tuned for a more definite answer on that though.

I hope this gets resolved soon, since PayPal is blocked in my country since earlier this year :(
