Non-Java Avatar Maker
WELL
Java is made of fail here on this computer, and it freezes any browser on this computer. Is there any either preview system, or a non-java based avatar creater? Thanks. |
i think there's none, its only JAVA RUN! sorry! but i think the moderators are doing a NON JAVA DREAM CREATOR! JAVA doesn't work on my computer too, so i only asked my friends to make me dream avatars! xD |
No, there aren't any non-Java-based avatar creators yet :[ Java used to freeze my computer up, too, though, but it started working when I reinstalled it-- maybe you could give that a shot?

@Panda Lover: The staff is not actively working on a non-Java avatar creator so far as I know. It's also not high on their list of priorities at all. ^^"
@Shadizilla: There may be terminology confusion here, but the version of Java that I use does not run in your browser (Internet Explorer, Firefox, or whatever). Instead you download it and run it with the Java Virtual Machine. However, I know of only one person who is working on an avatar creator and he's... going rather slowly. So I'm sorry you can't get it to run. You may want to try downloading the latest version of Java like wonderfinch said. |
Temmon is correct - the Staff is not yet working on an Avatar Creator. There are too many other features that have to be worked on first!
The MAC that Temmon created works very well for most people (sadly, not those with Mac computers, but you can't win them all), just see what you can do to fix the problem on your end. :) The only alternate solution is to ask someone with a working copy of MAC to create an avatar with the item or items you're wanting to see. If you go that route, ask in the Avatar Chat forum, please, unless you're asking a friend. :) |
The problem with that, CK, is that I'm new and don't really know all the items I would like, or what's out there. I would have to keep going back and fourth through the shops. I really wanted to find the Avatar creator non-Java so I could see how everything looked on an avatar.
Temmon - Java Virtual machine? I'll try and look for that. And, trust me. I've done all that I can possibly do to get Java to work. It just doesn't working properly on this computer. |
I feel your pain! Until this newest update to the MAC2, I couldn't get the MAC to work, so I had to beg people to show me the items via Avatar Chat or take the risk and buy it anyway. XD;

Unfortunately, the MAC that Temmon made is the only one we currently have, and if it doesn't work for you then you're kind of screwed. >_<;;
