I'm having a hard time with the clues, would it be against the rules to ask others for the answer? =/

Helpful hints, I'd say. Giving away the whole answer doesn't seem fair.

In the FAQ sticky in the event forum, you can ask for hints.

Honestly, some of the members that lurk there to help you are very, very good at hinting.
