Run a spybot/ad-ware program such as Ad-Aware or Spybot Search and Destroy immediately.

I have this same thing too.
I ran my virus programs and got nothing.

not real information, and nothing happened.
it just loaded for a second and the box went away.

This is actually an epidemic on Gaia. I would suggest you clean your catche and cookies ASAP. My friend got hacked on Gaia from that.

It's a PHP thing that is used in posts/comments/siggys.

It's a keylogger, if I had to guess, and NOT something produced by us. If anyone runs into this sort of thing again, please PM me or another online staff member immediately so we can edit the user's posts and ban them.

Don't put your information into it, as someone will use your password against you.

I would PM a mod with the whole thread, that way, they can determine who is posting it.

The pop-ups are coming from an offender's signature, and in turn, all of their posts.

That explains why I'm probably not getting it - I have siggy's disabled. xDD

No one should be getting it now. This is just a precautionary measure for if someone does it again. :)
