a suggestion for multi-equiping hairpins

so I was thinking there should be a multi equip for hairpins where you can have them on both sides of your avi instead of one like this or somethine:

I think that's just asking for clutter. xD

We wouldn't do it with old rares anyway... Perhaps future hairpins, though.

That's kind of smart, but theres the plant bao's that are like the same thing you're asking for but with hairpins. Maybe there could be like 2 hairpins on one side, like maybe a vday hairpin and a blue hairpin (to add color). but i love the idea, but It would probably be too hard to make old items double equips.

I don't think it would be any more difficult with new items than the old items. I think it's the fact that they don't want to tamper with the old items and just keep them the way they are.

Partly it's because making an item a multi-item does require some effort, as it is a process that means creating an entirely new item (that's not the hard part, though). We don't have an auto-replace script. So we'd have to manually replace each item so you'd have the new multi version of the item. Depending on how common the item is, that can take weeks, even with several AAs working on the task.

Also, as Foam said, we don't want to mess with old rare items because people get very attached to their rare items and don't want a single pixel changed on them. Even if it means making the item more versatile.

I wouldn't mind having two hairpin layers though. Like so that we could have small hairpins layer over larger ones to give more contrast. I think it would be really cool if done right.

But I don't really see the need of having to have hairpins be multi-equip to both sides of the head. Its kind of a dud because you don't see them anyways. Only the ones that stick out, or have a ribbon or beading would really show.
