I am always prone to double post by accident then 5-10 minutes later i notice i did it.. its annoying i cant help it maybe mene should make a thing so you cant double post within an hour or something cause i always seem to do it :(

I believe this thread belongs in either the feedback or the information desk.

If you always seem to do it, maybe you should pay closer attention to what you're doing. A website shouldn't have to change their rules just to fit one person that doesn't want to be more attentive to the forums they're in.

Since we're discussing new ideas for the site, I've gone ahead and moved this into Site Feedback. Don't worry about the problem - There's a fine line between Community Discussion and throwing around new ideas. :yes:

I believe that Mene currently has a system where you can't make a duplicate post within a minute of each other: You can't copy-paste the same thing over and over again and still earn gold. But this doesn't always help double posts because they come from a computer or server lag.

If you ever happen to double post, just report the post or pm a staff member about it. As long as you tell us, we'll take care of it in a jiffy and you won't get in trouble.

Actually, I think the duplicate post thing is set at five minutes. Because whenever I set up a thread and I'm putting up my reserved posts, it says five minutes, I'm pretty sure. So then I just add a letter or something and edit it to 'reserved' right after, then continue on setting up my thread.
