I quickly scanned the page already, but I'm not sure if this has been suggested already, so feel free to lock if has!:

You know how an 'admin' notifies you with a private message if somebody starts a trade with you? Well I started one with somebody recently, and I was waiting and waiting for my payment, and it turns out; so were they. There was no notification back to me telling me that I needed to accept it again.

Suggestion: It'd be nice if the 'admin' could notify you once the other person accepts.

Most people moan like hell about PM notifications for trades, actually, if they got two per trade, we'd get double the complaining :lol:

I'm sure that in future the system can be improved, in the meantime though, just keep an eye on your trade, keep the window open and refresh it every now and again maybe :)

It would be nice to at least have the trades light up like in PM's as well as when there is a change in the active trades, but I'm one who hates getting PM notification that I've got a trade. Mostly because it's mostly my mule sending me any trade so I already know there's one heading my way. :XD

I generally just keep an eye on my trades anyways. The PMs don't really bother me, but I don't need them. I agree with Kale on the trade button giving you a notification like the mail button does. That would be the best option I think, but like I said, either way it doesn't really bother me since I just watch my trades anyways if I'm using them.

Yeah, that's exactly what I'd really love. For it to light up like the PMs.

I think it would be amazing if the trades thing lighted up like the mail one does whenever we receive a trade or someone accepts

Agreed. That'd be perfect

I'd just always Pm the person once I have accepted a trade, or tell them in their shop, when I am the seller I also ask them to let me know once they added the gold/item(s), so I know when they accepted. ^^

The idea of the trade lighting up is nice though, especially for people who have lots of trades so they can see in one glace which ones are accepted, instead of having to click on them all to check it out. ^^

It does actually light up when you have a message as well, but yeah also the pop up, I do think it is a tad bit annoying, since I already know I have mail cuz its lit up in yellow and has a number of new mails behind it.

You can disable the pop-up messages you know, I don't use them. Go to your my account tab on the navigation bar, scroll down to Settings & Options > edit options. There's a check box in the private messaging section for the pop-up.

Or perhaps for this idea... Maybe you could have two check box options in your profile. One for receiving a PM alert when someone starts a trade with you. Then one for when someone accepts a trade. That way you can adjust it to your own personal preference?

Yeah...actually, those pop ups are actually kind of annoying too, lol. I think it'd just be nice if it could only be highlighted or something, (minus the private message and popup). Of course though with the suggested feature to disable and enable them.
