I would want something the title suggests, like on Myspace, you can put songs that you want to listen to on your profile so whenever you visit it, you can choose a song to listen to as you browse that person's profile. You can also show people that you like some certain bands and songs and possibly make friends based on different tastes in music.

I think it'd be a good idea in all honesty, what do you, the staff of Menewsha think though?

It's been mentioned before that we are considering something like this, for when the profiles get a revamp down the line. But if it does happen, it will definitely not be auto-play. I certainly don't want to be subjected to some 14 year's emo music when I'm spying on them

Well, I don't mind not having auto-play, I kinda don't like auto-play, especially with youtube videos.

Considering my computer will lock up even just loading the default not-autoplay bit of a Youtube video sometimes, I'm not too thrilled with the idea, personally. But maybe something can be coded to turn off that setting anyway, the way I can choose to have the user-customizations turned off.

If its too hard to code, then don't worry about it. xD

Oh god. I don't really care whether or not there'll be music, but yeah, seriously, don't have the autoplay.. or it'll be like Myspace all over again. :gonk:

I am not opposed to this idea as long as users are not allowed to have them set to auto play. I can't stand visiting a profile that shoves music at me unexpectedly. I especially hate this when I am listening to my own music.

I already said auto-play wouldn't be allowed.
