Very Impressed With Items!
 

I joined the site only a few days ago, and I must say, the items look spectacular!
A very wide selection, and they're all pixeled beautifully!
How many artists work at Menewsha? They do great work! ^^

Also, the sash items are very well done, they're some of my favorite items.

We have six pixelists, but not all of them are full time, some just do work for us when they can. We do try very hard to maintain a high standard though, so it's really great to see it being appreciated :)

Currently, we have... Three dedicated pixelists and three part-time pixelists. But we've had several other pixelists in the past and one of our artists also does some pixel work when it suits her.

The sash you're wearing now was pixeled by Some Random Randomness and designed by me, actually. So I'm glad you like it. ;)

i agree! alot of the clothes on mene are either very elegant or cute.. though i think there needs to be more bottoms (skirts, pants, etc..) but thats just me!

Just my two cents- the pixel work here is absolutely beautiful. It's why I joined to begin with.

There's another thing I would like to add as well.
I really like that you can have multiple poses with only one item.
I just remember how crazy things got what with Gaia's "One pose at a time" EI's, and I'm glad that didn't carry over here.
I was wondering why some of the items were pretty cheap.
But, anyways, I really appreciate that feature. :O

The reason we made them that way was because none of us like how you have to buy more than one of an item on Gaia to be able to equip more than one option :yes:

One of the benefits of growing up in the shadow of a larger site is that you can see the things that they do and think, "Let's not do that ourselves".

The menewsha staff also make sure our items stay in shape. A few months back (and it might still be going on now. I do not pay attention anymore.) a lot of our items got repixeled in order to meet the sites current standards.

The items weren't what attracted me here. That would be the bases(original. Bases changed the early part of last year, but for the better) and the community feel. The items were an added plus that I REALLY enjoy and appreciate.

Really? Wow, I've never heard of a site doing that before! :O

Well some of the early stuff is pretty terrible xD If you take a look in Emporio Palazzo at the morning/midnight dreams gowns you'll see what I mean, as those have yet to be re-shaded.

Many more sites could do with tarting up some of their original items I think, as they tend to be pretty bad wherever you go!

So I heard that the shop system was being remade or something like that.
Is there an estimated date it will be done, or did I hear wrong altogether? XD

We're still working through alot of old items ^^ hopefully we'll get some more out soon :)

We don't give dates for anything, because they are rarely met, and people just bitch then. The shops are going to be re-done, the same as many other things, all in the fullness of time :yes:

This other site I go on, the estimated times are rarely met for a lot of important updates, so I can understand. XD

i love the items too, and the avatars in general, much prettier than other websites.

:lol: Yes, mene does not really get estimated times on here anymore because people do complain.

But it adds to the suspense and teasing the staff give us, especially when events come around.

I want to just say I think the pixelists are awesome here, and I don't care what anyone says but Thor's Hammer CI for this month absolutely rocks my socks. Looking jagged or rushed? I'd like to see these people do this! :P
