Well, I was playing my tetris and saving the mayor from those fangirls, and I was wondering
Why can you only get 50 gold per game?
I feel as though you should be able to make the full 500 in one game, instead of having to spend 40 minutes to goodness knows how much time, to play at least ten games of tetris to get the 500 gold. I think that doing so would, at least for me, cut down on "gosh, i need my shinies, then I'll go talk to people" mindset.
It might even get people hitting their gold limit faster, thus leading them to contribute more time to the forums. >>

Keep the game per day limit at 500, but make each game capable of obtaining more that 50 gold max per play.

I agree. It's sort of annoying to have to keep killing myself after reaching 26k points, considering I'll just be starting a new game and doing the same old rearranging-falling-blocks thing.

I can understand that. The cap for the fangirls game is 100g, but I rarely get more than 65. I usually play 4 tabs at a time, and if I accidentally close or redirect one while it's in progress really stinks to have to start over :(

I was unaware that there were different caps for different games. I know that the points that you get in once game, and the gold that comes out of that, if different for each game.
It would be a little more complicated to change the cap, what with calculating the point to gold ration for every game, but I still think that this would be helpful for everyone that plays games.We're still young. Lets get it out of the way before there are lots of games.

I saw in another thread, but if I remember correctly everything is 50 except Fangirls, which is 100.

I think this has been suggested before, and I think I agreed with it before. x3
It's really frustrating when I'm doing well in Tetris and then I feel like I have to suicide because I'm not making any more gold. I'd like to be able to just keep playing until I die.

I would love to have the max upped. I never really play anything other then Attack of the fangirls, but I feel like its an all day event to reach that 500 goal, because its really slow, putting down each of those guards and running it while I do other things.

If the max was upped, maybe I could actually enjoy the game again.

I use fishing to get my gold it takes me 2 mins to finish the game and unless I'm unlucky i always hit 33k and get my max gold of 30.

30 gold per play it takes me 16.3 plays to get to 500. at 2 mins a play it takes me roughly 30 - 40 mins if I just camp on it and don't stop.
I hear tetris is even faster though. 26k is fairly simple for skilled players to get from what i hear. I figure they face the same odds.

Fan girls is just long and tedious though ... takes forever and it's unstable.

However I would like to see a max for fishing go beyond 30 just for people that can easily pass the cap limit of 33k. It would make gold grinding a bit more simple.

Some other games may need to be tweaked too. like snake for example ..

It gives 1 gold for every 100 points you score until your get 1000. Then you get 10gold .... however after that you have to get all the way to 2000 for the next gold bonus. if you make a score of 1999 you get 10 gold, but 2000 gets you 20...

It should remain one gold every 100 points up to 5000. then cap off at 50.

space invaders & asteroids are just brutal and time consuming. I don't even touch them for gold.

Getting good at games is the only way to make gold though and there are a few options. Tetris, Snake, Fan girls, and Fishing are all good examples i feel.

Tetris and fishing i would wager can be done about the same speed. 30 - 50 mins of work for 500 gold is not too bad i think.

Snake you can clock up 1000 points in about a minute. crash for 10 gold and do it again. thats about an hour of work if you stay on it.

fan girls is slow and tedious but it offers a large pay off too. however I can get about 200 - 300 gold on fishing off the time it takes to play one game all the way to 100 gold.

Sorry for this long rant. i guess what i'm saying is I don't feel the cap per game should be raised as much as tweaking them to more realistic and fair values.

*Snake for example which i already mentioned.
*Seeing a cap of 50 on fishing would be nice too but not urgent.
*Asteroids & Space Invaders should have a 100 cap similar to fan girls just because of the sheer time it takes to play it.
*Tetris is just fine, if anything i feel the score to gold should be raised on it as 26k is quite easy for 50 gold.. but I'm not going there. It's not breaking any ones heart how it is.
*Chopper challenge is a mixed bag just like snake. I think given the difficulty of the game the scores should be more reflective with gold.
*Fan girls just needs help period, half the people still can't play it and it takes forever to play as well. However it is a good choice for people that may not have great reflexes ... I feel the lag issues and crash issues need to be addressed more than anything to make it a better gold earner.

For fan girls I get a serious lag and I have broadband. I think you should get more gold fishing as well.

But what is the point of having to kill yourself once you're reached the max point limit? Why not just have it be possible to go alllllll the way to 500?

i dont play games much and if there was more gold given id be more willing to play

I think some users might be misunderstanding this? Or maybe I am. You don't get more gold per points. I'm guessing you'd still get 50 gold for 26000 points in tetris. BUT, instead of killing yourself, you can keep on going.

I totally agree with this. I've always loved the challenge of seeing if I could top 100k points in Tetris. I would LOVE it if that actually meant something here other than that I was wasting my time in a single game when I could have been bombing it and starting new ones. The caps are set way too low, and I really don't see why they're necessary at all!

I ask myself the same thing when i play fishing and get way past the 33k needed for 30 gold. a lot of times i end up just going into another window once 33k is obtained and come back when time runs out.

Lot's of people do that, they start a game, get to the gold max and kill themselves just to start over.

I think if you get more in games as well as decent amout of gold repying it wild put gaia out of the biz. and you guys need more games like galiga, dig-dug, you know clasic games as well as more OG games other than attack of the fan girls, then this site would be vary popular. One more thing, if you had the option of spinging actual money for gold that would also be grate....that is just mt opion

I hope there is never an option for a straight cash-to-gold transaction. That would inflate the economy horribly.

You can always buy multiple copies of this month's CI, sit on it for a while, and then sell it in the marketplace for gold.
