1. Previously the shops were even more disorganized than it is now. Now at least it's categorised by the same types according to their price.
A shop revamp will be done in time, it is already in works, but there are other priorities to deal with as well.
2. The reason there is no latter option at the moment is because it would involve quite a bit of coding. We do have the option to view the items on the avatar, however, and that is better than none. Previously, there wasn't even a preview option.
3. The rules are there for a reason. And why limit gold earning for posts? In Menewsha, you earn according to how much you type, and in my opinion, that is a great gold earning system because it encourages conversation and even normally shy users to post. If there was a gold earning limit in posts, what you would get are probably mostly spammy one-word posts just to hit the daily 25 posts limit and then they would earn the rest through games etc. This would defeat the purpose of encouraging people to post in the forums.
4&5. Free daily giveaways, starter packs and others have been suggested over and over again, but it is not our way. In Menewsha, most of us pride in having to earn every gold and item we have on ourselves. Don't you think that would give you a better sense of achievement than owning a majority of freebies in your inventory as opposed to something you've earned with your effort? =)
Gold is actually not that difficult to earn here. You've managed to purchase a top with gold to spare, have you not? ;)
If you are a roleplayer, it is a good way to earn gold here, as there are quite a few active roleplayers who would be glad to participate in new roleplays.
If you have any particular art skills, you can also offer to sell your art in the Art Shops in exchange of gold or items.
OR you can even play games. The daily gold limit is 500g an account, but a few days of maxing it out, you could purchase a nice expensive item from the stores. That isn't too bad, is it? :D
