Hello all,

Just so that there are no surprises, the Tulip Dresses are being redone.

Here is the before and after.



We are not going to be keeping the old dress at all and each is in the process of being done in our current palette colors and uploaded and possibly a couple new colors for you to enjoy.

Hmm. Something I thought of...

To possibly alleviate some of the workload the pixellists are going through to do these, maybe you should save some items to be re-pixelled and re-released during events? Kindof like a surprise/kickoff/store sale :yes:

Like a "yay, we redid these items, now you can have them for 1/2 off during this event!" type thing.

And the pixellists wouldn't be so hard-pressed to get so many new items done.

I certainly wouldn't be disappointed with having fewer "original" items during events in lieu of getting re-pixelled old items.

I guess I'm amongst the minority in preferring the old one (I just like the feel of it more), the new Red dress is lovely.
As I expressed in the other thread I made (didn't see this one; sorry CK), I am not a big fan of the blue/silver one though. :S

You know, Juru, I really liked the heads up for this tweak and it's helped me to appreciate the update...I'm wondering if you guys can share with us the other bits you guys updated in maybe a 'Tweak report' or something. :XP

I mean obviously don't make it a headline, as it isn't anything real 'major' but it is neat to see those little changes. That, and now I'm really wanting to buy one of those dresses (but am saving up for a hold, so it will have to wait)!

Also, I imagine I'm not 'in the dark', but as the other user has suggested...'re-releasing' them as event items would leave others feeling a little cheated. I enjoy all the new stuff coming out. I can see the benefit of getting a chance at buying it half price, but I don't think it's enough to 're-release' it in an event.

The blue silver one I may still darken. I'm not happy with the brightness of the blue and the original was darker. I like this blue one though *points to the one she's wearing*.

I'll probably keep that blue one and then make a dark blue/silver one but that won't happen until later today :)

As far as repixels for event items or event commons, that's not likely to occur. People want new and fresh and often the items correspond to the event itself (not always but most of the time) but for shop updates, yes, we can put repixels as part of that.

The blue silver and pink/black still show up as the old one in the preview for me. But I absolutely LOVE the new black/silver one ^.^

I may actually buy them to use them, instead of buying them just to have them ^.^

But I still wouldn't want that. XD I want new items. I think the repixeling is cool, but not so cool that I'd want it to replace us getting actual new items.

Anyways...xD Tulip dresses look better in my opinion and i might eventually buy them. Dresses just aren't my strong suit though =P

Lol, maybe not quite half and half. Maybe 5-10% repixelled, until there's no more items that need repixelling.

And then maybe new hair/facial features/etc. could be released instead?

I dunno, these are just ideas.

I do think a couple of the hairstyles should be repixelled though :[

But, I know that some people like them the way they are.

I was more for the idea to put alittle less strain on the pixelists. They do so much work as is o.0

Cora: I understand that, but they need to relieve some strain and the choice is between repixeled old things and creating new things, I'd much rather they stop repixeling old things than that they make fewer new things.

But I love the new repixels o.0

plus, keyori was only suggesting a slight amount fewer of new items. 5-10% is really not all that much.

To me, old things made into new things are just as new as new things...

but I don't own a lot of commons to begin with xD
