I guess I'm biased b/c I'm a slots junkie, but I really think it would be awsome if there were a slots game. Maybe have a jackpot of the maximum allowed to earn each day...the images to match up could be a lot of fun to come up with. They could be smilies or items...just a thought.

My other idea was maybe a memory game or something. Ya know, like the one most of us played with cards as kids. Bunch of cards flipped over and you flip two over at a time trying to match them.

Or hell, let's bring back Cactus Factory! That used to be one of my favorite games back when I was in elementary school!

Nah, it's fine for you to suggest game ideas. You don't seem to be demanding it right now, so I'm not mad that someones wanting another game even though it costs loads.
I agree, i'd like to see some games like that in the future if it is possible. Do we have a game suggestion thread? I thought we did. Maybe you should post there instead?

There is a sticky in Community Discussion for games, but it's ok if people want to suggest then in here, that sticky doesn't get a great deal of action.

What is "Cactus Factory" out of curiosity? I've never heard of it, and I'm not sure that the terms I'm using to google for it are correct.

I'm not surprised you haven't heard of Cactus Factory; it was only popular in school (I think) and it's at least 18 years old now (I didn't realize how old it actually was until I counted just now).

Basically, it's one of those business games; you own a store that sells cacti, but you have to buy and pot a cactus before you can sell it. There was a similar game called Hotdog Stand. You have to buy supplies and sell your murchandise. Ironically, it's kinda like how it was mentioned on this thread how new games cost money. In the cactus one, there are 3 different kinds of cacti and 2 kinds of pots and the object of the game is to carry several combinations of them to sell and make the most profit (some cacti cost more than others and one pot is cheap and one is expensive).

I didn't mean to offen or upset anyone with my suggestion; just putting an idea out there. I think having a swimming pool at my place of employment would be a good idea, but I don't expect the company to drop the money on it. But then again, I never thought my company would spring for getting an ice machine, but I asked anyway and we ended up with an ice machine. I just figure it never hurts to ask (so long as it's not a demand).

I think that sounds like a good idea. Games of chance are always fun and the little pictures would be super cute.

No one was really offended, Polarisld33. Think of it more as the way people who are regulars somewhere get into a habit of having to answer specific questions a lot and the more often they explain why something is or isn't a certain way, the more the friendliness of the explanation is stripped away. It's not that they're mad at you, it's just that their usual friendliness is worn away. Menewsha is full of very friendly people, so a suggestion like this has obviously been made so many times that even the friendliness of the regulars has been given a few rough spots. :)

I really like the sounds of the Cactus Factory game. xD; I love shop simulations. I know I'll push really hard for a sort of shop simulation game being developed, but it won't be anytime soon, unfortunately!

That makes me think of those pet games. We could raise mene characters, like the whalefish, yumeh, or horrible afrodonkey.

Money available or not, it doesn't hurt to say, "Hey! I like THIS. If you can do it, I'd be really happy to see it!"

n__n That said, more games, more fun. I'm not a huge gambler, but, hey. A game is a game, and someone will enjoy it.
If it's not possible right now, it's not possible.
But if Mene starts looking for ideas for a new game...well....here's a idea!!
