I don't know about the rules being relaxed, Monstahh. They seem the same as ever since I started in '07, except that after the softwear migration, your record is now your face all the time.
As for how many early '07 rares the staff has for contest prizes, people have mentioned that if the staff create just a couple of new copies a year it would not harm the economy. The biggest help to the economy would probably be a Marketplace. That might even generate new interest in Menewsha. |
Creating new rares banks down on morality then Angel. It was said to the people of menewsha that the only way to get them was to attend the event. Giving out rares that someone once got by being at the event is fine...because they where got at the event. To create new rares is to have lied in the first place.

I had not read where the staff said that the only way to get the items was from being at the event, or from someone who was there. If they have said this, then yes, no new ones should be made.

Its not an outward statement, its an unspoken statement. It doesn't need to be said to be implied. If you attend an event then you are awarded with the EI's. To create new ones years later is not really fair to those who have them that where there.

I have to more than agree with Cora on this one. It's implied in the name "event items"

It's an effort to keep them from running away while they "transition" into menewsha from other sites. At least, that's how it was explained to me. |
