I have this little annoying feedback tab on my screen it won't go away. So when I click on it my screen goes gray and nothing pops up. What gives?

I thought it was a Facebook thing since it's pretty close to their text.

I saw it too. I wasn't sure what it was until I clicked on it. I thought it was something from Facebook at first, too, but I'm not logged in to my Facebook at the moment.

I don't like the little tab its annoying and covers little pictures and texts that I can't see. They need to take it off already. Many agree with me I know

Evidence of all these people who agree with you, then ;) Don't make wild claims without something to back it up, or in internet parlance, pics or it never happened!

What is it covering up for you? Seeing as it's on the side where there's nothing but background.

eh.....its slightly annoying but if its useful then *shrugs*

Its one of those things that will eventually just fade into the background.

Not a complaint, just answering simply. But for me, I usually have half a screen devoted to web browsing, the other to media viewing (tv, or what have you) on a 13 inch laptop screen. (I'm in an interesting situation where it's prudent to go without a TV.)
When I do this, the feedback button (?) blocks avatars, and obscures parts of texts in user posts. When I allow a web browser to be normal size, I don't notice it.

When clicking on the feedback button you see votes for the ones who think the feedback tab is annoying. Those are the ones I agree with and agree with me. I don't own a pc so it does cover up text and pictures.

Compare that number to the number of people who have voted for EVERYTHING ELSE.

Obviously those people think it's useful and don't want to get rid of it. Not that it matters, since you're taking your ball and going home, right?

I don't like it oh well not my site to put new annoying things on. Just here to enjoy it for a little bit.

guys.....really if you think about it. In another thread inso said that this is the most effective way to find out what we want out of the site. Is it really THAT annoying if its going to eventually lead to bigger and better things. Weigh out your options and pick your battles carefully. Is it annoying....yes......is it worth keeping if it means something better may come out of it in the future.....absolutely.

It was kind of annoying the first day, but I'm completely used to it now and barely notice it. I'm sure other people will be the same way as time passes. :)

Isn't there at least an option to turn it off..? Its bugging me like crazy since on my screen it covers things as well, I'm sorry if I dont exactly have a more advanced and wider screen for it to sit in perfectly and it would still bug me even then.
I feel like its being forced on me, like is HAS to be there when I clearly find it to be an annoyance. The chat feature at the bottom was also kind of annoying but at least I can hide it when its being too bothersome, I cant say the same for that stupid tab to the left since it sticks out there like a sore thumb.

I LOVE the new feedback tab! :squee: The Mr. Mayor-esque character is so cute and just more Mene-like. :yes: Plus it's right next to the chat icon, so that's convenient and not as cumbersome as the old tab. :P

Haha, I love the new feedback tab too. I had thought it was like some sort of announcement thingie...hovered my mouse over it...and FEEDBACK! XD It was only then that I noticed the old one had gone.

The new button is adorable! Much less distracting when I'm in the middle of something, but still there if I need it.

It's not even in the way of anything now, it's compressed just like the chat bar thing if you allow it.

At least it's cute to look at now, xD
