If we manage to make $1000 a month it's a "good" month. Generally, we don't even manage that. Considering we used to make 4 times that every month... T_T

Poor Mene, I have donated 20 dollars this month.. ;__; I would donate more, but I don't really have the funds to do so. I'd much spend money on Menewsha than say spend it on going out to eat or whatever. Cx Then again.. I am a more stay at home kind of person. But I am going to try and donate 20 dollars a month for now on. I hope I can at least manage that.

Creating an awesome game that costs like a dollar to play it each time could be another idea. But the thing about this game that would differ is that the player could gain a substantial amount of gold from it, maybe in the 1,000g to 5,000g range.. I think that would be tempting to play. It is kind of like a chance game, I guess.. I know, completely off the wall and probably can't be done. Just a thought.

Also to note, I would love to see Menewsha sale real items that support the site. Like a real Yumeh hoodie, a t shirt that has the Menewsha logo on it.. ect. I would definitely buy a Yumeh hoodie and t-shirt if priced reasonbly. I have plenty of ideas for those kind of items. I know that the budget may not be able to support the creation of those items though. :( Maybe I should make a thread just for ideas for a real item store.. xD Because I have a lot of ideas for real clothing and whatnot that Menewsha could sale. x)

There may be come red tape for buying virtual gold, Velvet, even if it were a chance game. Items, on the other hand, not so much red tape since users are buying at a chance of an item, and not gold.

Real Menewsha items would be awesome. If they teamed up with, let's say, Sanshee, I can see the possibilities.

I had always thought of starting up a doll shop and donating the profits to mene.......but I never really found I had the time unfortunately.

On a secondary note, my parents run a business through ebay, so I'm pretty used to how e-bay works, I don't think it'll be too much trouble. The biggest problem with E-bay is when they update their interface and you can't find anything...

An ebay shop is certainly something in the right direction. However, there are users like myself who refuse to purchase online (even though there are things I would want to purchase on ebay, amazon, etc.). An option for "premium" items to buy with Mennies would bring in even more cash.

The coding is relatively simple, considering it's copy and past form an existing store in the "Shops" tab. Call it "Premium Mennies" and add the items. Take a highly wanted suggestion from the Contribution Items suggestion thread, and make that the first premium item.

Heck... Halos, devil horns and tails, and various demonic and angelic wings make most users go batcrap crazy.

Problem with that Senpai is that they want to avoid the elitist mindset that would unfortunately create.

I'm just going to reiterate what I stated on the last page, as I don't see the Premium idea that much different than the other idea to just have more items.

The real problem isn't a lack of items to buy, it's the lack of people to buy them.

As well as the lack of resources/manpower to create said items.

The idea itself, to have more items here, isn't bad, it's just that it won't markedly help us any at the moment. One of our hopes in having an Ebay shop is that it will open us up to another/wider audience. People like merchandise.

Well the additional thing with e-bay is that not only would you be selling to us, but anyone on the site can get it too.
That might also advertise for those interested in the company :3 but that's just wishful thinking

Plus, for several underage users who need parental permission/use their paypal or credit card, it is a lot easier to get them to accept buying, say, a Menewsha shirt/hoody/cup/etc. online versus having them accepting donating to a site in return for virtual currency and virtual items.

That is very true... and since I need cloths anyways... it'd give me an excuse to buy cloths off e-bay :D
