Games?
 

I love the games, don't get me wrong. Attack of the fan girls is my favorite by far, but I feel like we need some more games to give the games section some more ummph! Like sudoku or 2048.[boogie]

From what I understand, New games aren't a priority until our userbase grows a little. Money money money.

Even if we found some free game scripts that would work with our site and we thought would fit well here, we'd still need a coder's time to do it.

I think the games are great for the time being ^_^ Also, I vaguely recall that they intentionally reduced the max gold amount from 500 to 250 a day to encourage us to post more in the forums. :) So, I also had the impression that the games weren't the top priority.

I'm wondering how we can expand our user base, if that is what will bring more $$ to this site.

I could do webcam striptease, but that might scare everyone off.

i would like to add something here...
i have come across many new users who are having problem playing the games because they don't work on tablets and phones... so i think there should be at least one game that could be played through phones and stuff...

I bet that's been a huge problem on a lot of websites [gonk] Kind of cold comfort though, as the ones that make some money will have got that fixed, and we can't [cry]

Checking games on my mobile phone but they all require a special plugin my phone doesn't have.
I think I was able to play Spazewalk 3000 at one time.

so what about chance??? i can play it on my tablet and i think it works on a phone too... is it not possible to get something working like that for gold for users that are stuck with phones...?

We used to have chance a long time ago. It was removed for a reason I don't know.

I think it was back when we had the other fishing game. I remember I had to dump a ton of gold into the fishing game before I made a profit.

Chance was on the old software, same as fishing, and like that it doesn't exist any more. Also, it was intentionally coded as a gold sink; so the larger the amount of money you placed on a card, the greater the chance you were going to lose. Josh told me he'd done this but warned me not to tell anyone. [roll]

But isn't that how all gambling works jelly? Gambling is rigged [lol]

Yeah, but I still wasn't happy about it : / Should have expected it, and I wasn't particularly surprised when he told me this, but I wasn't at all impressed. : /

When I hear gold sink, I immediately think about GaiaOnline and the massive inflation that occurred there. I vaguely remember CIs being several hundred, instead of several thousand gold, so I guess the gold sink made sense. But I feel like increasing the probability of losing because the user gambled more gold is something that should be made clear to whoever plays the game. Just my opinion, though!

I'm sort of happy that we don't have the chance game anymore. I would definitely lose all of my gold playing this game!

We got chance back for events though. I think it's a very clever way to do extra currency.

I always end up losing more than I gain. I guess I'm not very good at it.

Best way to play is not to spend to get extra tries. I wait for the free ones.
