Signatures in Threads?
 

So on another forum I used to be apart of (or maybe still am as I am unsure of which forum it was HAHA) their signatures were along the sames lines as the once here, but also things were coded to that if the same person had another post on the same page, the signature in the first post would be hidden and only the actual text post part shown.

I was wondering if that is something that could ease load time and lag, or maybe even just the servers?

I asked Inso about this six years ago [ninja] He was unwilling to do it, for reasons that I cannot remember so I'll not surmise and put words into his mouth. It's how Gaia's sigs are and it is definitely peferable to them displaying multiple times on every page, got to say.

I think there is a way to turn off sigs completely though if you are having lag problems.

I'm kinda on the fence about this. I recognize a lot of people by their signatures... [lol]

Good point Poet. I recognise people by their signatures as well, I hadn't thought of that.
