More Marketplace Tags? :)
Hello! :)
I was wondering if we could have more tags for items in the Marketplace. I think it would make it easier to find items we've seen, but for which we don't know the name. For example, Bleeding Hearts Fan http://www.menewsha.com/images/items...f7647ab48b.gif has the following tags: black, red, valentines, valentine, heart, fan, 2008, left, hearts, bleeding, ei, and event. These tags pretty much cover all possible search terms for this item (except maybe "scarf" http://www.menewsha.com/images/items...85da50358a.gif). If you wanted to find out where that cute shamrock hairpin http://www.menewsha.com/images/items...3bbac5c7ab.gif came from, you would probably search "shamrock" and "hairpin." However, Emerald Isle Gift Bag http://www.menewsha.com/images/items...4e5a769987.gif only has these tags: green, gold, bag, left hand, event item, handheld, st. paddy, and emerald isle gift bag. So, you would also likely not find this item if you were looking for the potato (?) http://www.menewsha.com/images/items...2ece3b0765.gif, ice cream http://www.menewsha.com/images/items...e58170847c.gif, and pants http://www.menewsha.com/images/items...34c355b791.gif. Huh, interesting. And also weird. It appears that the marketplace shows each of those poses from the emerald isle gift bag as separate items. Very confusing for people who don't know that they all come from one item. Wonder if someone messed something up there. > o>
Anywho, theres a tag suggestion thread in the dream avatar creator forum. Oh, but I guess you don't have access. D: Well, I believe the DAC and the marketplace share tags. |
scarf (well actually sash since that is part of the item name) I can definitely fix since I've gone through those items already. I haven't gotten to the gift bags yet. The tags it has are likely to change. I'm muddling through 2009 (STILL!) just past the bajillion easter commons.
marketplace should only show the bag and not the individual poses. I'll look in to that and find out why. DAC shows individual poses. Does anyone actually go in that forum anymore? lol |

The eggs were 2010 though weren't they? Because I have a bajillion and two of them and I wasn't here yet in 09.
Also, interestingly, I hardly use the DAC anymore now that I've been here a while and have a bigish inventory. |
