gold for messages
we should get gold for messages and the count down game aswell its sorta stinks that only 5 things on this site give gold. :twisted:

there is a reason why we don't get gold from private messages, and the count down game was misused by users who used bots so they disabled gold granting.. I don't know if it will be back or not :3
I think it's fine that we can only gain gold from posting and occasionally from games. And the fact that you can't spam is awsome! |
There is no gold earning for messages because there would be nothing to stop you from messaging a mule with a bunch of spam just to earn gold.
If you find yourself going back and forth talking to a person in PMs you should just take your discussion to the forums so you can earn gold for it *nod* |
I agree with Sagitar. I used to hate that there was no bumping allowed, but I actually like it now, there aren't any 'noobs' or any spam threads. It's all discussion here. If you want to go to a trashy place, and spam up the walls, go to gaia.

yes thats true sugar, we can't moderate PM's as well as we can forums, so people will abuse it to no end, hence the reason why there will never be gold granting for PM's or surfing the site

messages can easily turn into spam.. plus..like then the staff might have to monitor them.. they don't need, and probably don't want to know, what's going on in people's life.

People would start to make bots and/or try to spam/scam people just for the gold.
That "countdown game," Descender, used to give out gold. People kept hacking the game, so they had to take it out. |
