I don't really like buying a bunch of the same items,but different colors. I know it'll be nearly impossible to change this, but I would like items with muliple poses and/ or colors. I don't really think this idea would work out, but it might. Thank you for your time! :mrgreen:

I love the idea of Multiple Poses for items...so people can choose how to wear it. I don't think the color theme thing would work though, every item would have different colors and that kind of loses the fun of picking a color theme for your avatar if everything had all the colors. Anything could go with everything then but it's a good idea all the same.

I love the idea of multiple poses, it would certainly attract more people to buying an item. I also love the idea of being able to choose the color when it's in your inventory at any time. I think the shops look cluttered with so many of the same item, but I don't know how hard it would be to implement this into the system.

I think it would be very hard for Ken personally, as that would be a major project. I don't know how it would work, all I know is that in my opinion the shops look a bit cluttered at the moment.

Hmm...I really agree with Cloud of Dawn. I think that items with multiple poses would be cool, but if you have multiple color items, it would just get too complicated.

Hm I like the multi-pose idea. I wish that I could hold both my welcome balloons and not just one.:3

Multiple pose items WILL come, once Ken has the time to work out how to code them.

But certainly not multiple colour choices for one item, that would crucify the site's economy.

What you're suggesting is just 1 item, with a variety of different equipable colours, instead of selling multiple items. So people could just spend 300 gold on 1 top, but actually get maybe 8 or 10 tops for the price of 1. Gaining a variety of items would suddenly become extremely easy. 1.5K could net you maybe 60+ different item/colour combinations.

People wouldn't have to be so active to be able to gain far more item choice, so would spend less time on here, people also wouldn't feel so inclined to donate so that they could see their CIs and use the gold to buy commons because they could get such a wide choice so easily.

The site would probably die.

Now that I look a tit that way, it could be an economic disaster! >.<

Possibly a more cleaner version of shops in the future though? Perhaps you have to click on an item in order to have the color choices appear in shops, instead of having all the colors on pages like they are now.

I'm sure the shops will go through a number of changes before they find their final form, they are still very much a work in progress

It says 'Shopkeeper', but has nothing under it.

Colors are probably not a very good idea. Because as jelly mentioned you could really get getting several items for the price of 1. But I do like the idea of differen titem posts. :)

I kind of think of it like real clothing-- you can wear a shirt in different positions (i.e. sleeves rolled up, off the shoulder, etc.) but you can't physically change the color of a real shirt. The color you buy is the color you get. ^^;

Unless you had 'dye bottles' that you could purchase to change the colour, for slightly less than a new item in the shops... but that seems like an awful lot of coding for something that really wouldn't make much difference in the long run anyway!

Changing colors is a bad idea. Jelly pretty much hit the nail on the head.

But multiple poses would be awesome... so long as we didn't Gaia-fy it. And by that, I mean having eight million different poses of the item that have absolutely nothing to do with the item to begin with. But I'd love to be able to switch my Pudao to the other hand, or something like that... :3

Multi-pose items are always lame to me. Instead of releasing one item that can be on five different layers on different poses, release five different items, in a set. I love the lack of multi-pose items on this site. It's one thing I really appreciate, that if you want a full set, you don't just buy five of the same item- you buy the set of items.

I have the same opinion on multi-color items. Just make other items in the same color. Mene's already done this with all of its items so far.

Kinda like the horns on gaia, where you get both the long, and short version. I like that type of multi-pose xD;

As for multiple colors... I agree with it, but only to a certain extent.
Like, for the dragon armor capes, for instance, I'd have rather seen those four different versions for each color combined into one.

As far as the multiple pose thing goes--I think that WOULD be cool; I've always thought that some items might look better in the opposite hand. *would be interested in this*

I think it would be nice to have the same item in multiply positions. I don't think you should get several colours of the same item though since that's like getting a bunch of items all in one. That's one thing I don't like on other sites is how you think you're getting one item and it turns out to be a bunch of items in one. I think it's more organized if it's just one item in a few different poses.

We're never going to go down that route, where you buy a book and it turns into a frog and various other, totally un-related items :lol:

I've never got why other places do that anyway, let's release a full 9 months worth of donation items, all rolled into 1 item!! That's sound business practice :lol:

but yeah..we won't be doing that, but we do want to be able to give people multi-equip items.

Both in the same place, but worn differently; hood up or down on a top for example..

Or held in different places for handheld items.

I think it's fun when an item has lots of different poses to use in lots of different ways. But even just to be able to switch hands using hand held items, or having a hood up or down, or a coat open or closed and the like would be nice.
