Even more interactivity
I just thought about this from a hallucination I just had. I was making a post, when I thought I saw someone's avatar blink. I looked back up in utter shock, but not in fear strangely. Then I thought to myself, "How cool would it be if the avies actually did blink?" And a randomized blink, not in sync or on a time schedule or something. Just random blinks. We should also be able to choose the speed of our blinks also.
This would probably creep others out, but come on, seriously. They're only pixels and you can't be scared of everything that blinks...except dolls, paintings, etc. So does anyone agree that a blink here or there would be nice? By the way has this been suggested already? |
That would definitely be something unique, but I'm not sure how several animations as small as they are would be with the site's speed. Also it could complicate layers which the are already complicated enough.
|
I've gotta agree with Razor on this one. It looks like one of those ideas that's a great idea in one's head, but a terrible idea when it comes time to make it work.
|
O' course there's gonna be kinks and I was thinkin' about the site's speed also, but layers never came to my mind T_T
I haven't had too many problems with them, and like I said in another one of my post, it sounded good to me, but I try to think 360 on the situation, I tend to think more lik 300 lol. |
Also, poor mama juru JUST finished fixing all the eyes...i think she would kill someone if she had to do it again XD;;
nifty idea though o_o |
I think we discussed this before, and decided that we weren't going to make any moving items on the doll bases. So no moving items, such as falling things, blinking, etc.
|
That and will take longer time to load the avatars, i mean image for those poor people on dial up still T_T
even at a two frame animation, thats twice the amount of time it would take to load the avatar, as its loading two images instead of one, and when we get bigger that can cause lag to the site Its a good idea, yet there is no way around it to work 100% |
Ah I see T_T
|
It's okay iRandall, no harm in making a suggestion, if you can't see the whole 360, we will help you. :)
|
It's a really cute idea, though. :3 I like the idea... Maybe when the world's internet connections as a whole goes up again so that people hear the phrase "56kb/sec" for an internet connection and go, "Surely nothing was ever that slow on the internet." (The way people do about previous internet speeds. XD )
|
I think this has been answered, so I am going to go ahead and lock it! Thank you for the feedback iRandall!
