When I saw the cute shop map it was so cute! Just that if you guys could change the inside like something like a real shop then that would be so cute! <3 Like when you go inside, it'll be like the shop map but saying like shirts, shoes, pants, and others. With some of the clothes hanging and the shop owners talking like saying " Hello, how are you? " And when you click on the clothes then, a little box could pop up showing the clothes.

I know this sounds to much, and is hard but it would be so cute and fun if it really would happen! <333

Are you speaking of something like Whuddle World? I believe that's what the site is called - my memory isn't the greatest this late at night. I know they had something like that.. a pixelated shop with pants in one section shirts in another, accessories/hat in again another.

Was an interesting way of sorting things into what you are looking for to find faster rather than globbing them all together. I do like the idea of it.

At the moment, everything is in crazy disarray. I don't care about it looking pretty so much as being able to find pants without clicking through eight pages. XD

I agree, it would be a lot easier to navigate the items and having the shop owner actually say things to you whether you have to click on them or not also gives a welcoming feel to it.

The shops are going to have a lot of work done on them yet, never fear. Right now, they are very basic. It's all down to when our very hard working coder gets a chance to to turn his attention to them :)

The only problem that I can see with that is loading time.
The shop map takes forever and a day to load for me. And I'm on a 100 mbps connection.

I'd like that, but I agree with Cherry.

Perhaps have it set up similarly to the way it is now--you can click the shops list link instead of waiting for the map to load. Maybe it could be set up so that if you navigate from the map, you go to the nifty looking shop, and if you navigate from the plain old list, you don't?

What if there was a simple version of the inside of the shop? Er...
Like, it'll load to the pretty version first, and we can have the option to view the shop at a basic version, with plain links and such.

yah its hard to find things you want and where they are also they could have it so when you go back to shops you start outside the shop you left that would help too other wise have to start from start again and again from going to store to store (few lot of work)

The new map loads really slowly. I like the old list better.

You can still load the old list by clicking at the link at the top of the map, silly. :)

I agree. :yes: It would make shopping clothes more easier if the shops could organize the clothes or items alphabetically or from the most recent or from the cheapest or the most expensive. It took me 2 days to figure out there was something I could afford.

I think this is a cute idea as well :3 And it certainly would help find things and would fit in a bit better with the shopping map. I remember when I first came to Mene (which isn't hard since I've only been here since June XD ) I was impressed by the shop map and I loved it :3

As far as organization within the shops goes, there have already been quite a few suggestions in this thread: LINK

gaia used to have a shop front for each shop, with the NPC's behind the character, and sometimes even the items on the shelves. I thought this was fun and intuitive, until they changed it so that the clothes are in the one block (not so bad) but the NPC now takes up ALL of the shop space and you can't see anything behind them except for a brown/blue/green etc. background that's all blurred out. I really like it when sites create shops, it shows a little imagination, and frankly, makes the game a little more real :P

This is exactly what I was going to say. and item window with a preview of the item would make choosing something a bit easier.
Other than that. I think this site is amazing. There is nothing at all to complain about.
Even making gold is great.:P
