You know I have been thinking about the limit 500g of earning from games, like maybe you could put a number of somewhere saying 500 and every time we play it takes of how much we earned from playing that game and it will show us how much we can still play for gold and all. ^^

Because when I play games I get confused of how much gold I can still earn from it.

So yeah....
If this has been said already you may lock it, if you wish. :D

I think this might actually be a good idea.
I have no problem with the gold cap, in fact I encourage and enjoy it.

But it's kinda hard to tell how much more gold you can earn.
So having a little marker or something would definitely help with that.

In this instance, not a huge loss since you stop earning after about 26k anyways. :)

Still missing the point. The point was that they got no gold for it and they would have liked to have known that before playing.

...and if it's such a big deal to play one more game than you earn gold for, then it would be important enough to keep an eye on how much gold you've earned so far. :)

Easier said than done.

If it was a really huge deal, then it'd be easy. Said and done.

Take note of your gold before you play. Play as much as you like. Take note of your gold after you've decided to take a break. If you receive a gold donation between when you started and when you finished, minus that from your total. Then go play in the forums.

Seems pretty easy to me. Just don't post while you're gaming if you really think it's important to stop playing immediately after you've earned 500 gold.

I think a counter that keeps track

would be neat and useful feature.
Yeah, you could keep track of it yourself.
But having a counter would make it a lot easier.
I'm sure most of the users would appreciate it as well.

yes, even if you get your score into the millions you only get 50 gold.

I believe Ken just decided that 26k was a good amount of points to get in the game and that it would net you the 50 gold.

I find the other games much harder to get the limit at. XD

[edit] and I just play until I get 0 gold from games. It really isn't that big of a deal if I don't get gold from the games since I am normally playing them to unwind and just to have fun.

Well, no one's saying this can't be coded in the future. It's apparently important to a lot of people that they don't play even one more time than they have to. There may be many people who don't have the time to play an extra game. But until there's time to code this, the solution's fairly easy.

Well if many people feel that way then I'm glad that they agree, it's just I'm already tired of hearing "Big Deal" I mean seriously if people don't like my suggestion keep it to yourself, because just seeing those words just bug me allot, the could have said it a bit more nicely.

And I wouldn't care if I'm taking this so seriously, it's who I am, Don't like (deal). =]

I was looking for a counter as soon as the game cap was put on. xDD I think it'd be a bit too much work to keep track of it yourself if you are posting, playing games, talking to people on AIM, etc. And I'm super lazy.

If you have a mule, you could send all your gold there and then play until you get to 500g.

You're right, there should be a counter and I'll make sure to add one soon. Keep in mind that we have many projects in the works and we can't fulfill every feature request, but this one would make sense.
