WHAT KIND OF A MOD ARE YOU?! ... jaykay lulz <3 i feel the same way, actually XD and the thing that annoyed me, too, was the fact that he exploited some artists on gaia a long time ago :/ "helping" them but trying to get profit somehow, too. i remembered him "helping" out this one artist that i was kind of stalking on ygal XD. she was new on gaia, and had an auction with his 'help.' as it turned out, he was getting half of the profit of the auction once the auction cleared. all he was going to do was make "pretty banners" out of the art that she'd produce for the winner of the auction. wth. i got so pissed off and told her not to do it. shoot. I'D do the auction for her and have all of the profits go to her totally. he harrassed so many artists, it's not even funny. most of the artist friends i knew from gaia (and here) felt the same way about him, too XDDD @ dys: lol the word is in one of harkem's latest posts. you'll know who it is haha. |

He harassed a lot of artists I was familiar with (back when I hung around Gaia's art forums and artists I know from dA). ^^; I don't mind him personally, but it was bummer to watch nice artists get exploited (I know I saw him do at least one joint auction where he was paid a lot for doing simple banners). I can't say anything about art whoring though since I'd be the pot calling the kettle black. XD; However, my IRL friend that he bugged a bunch said that a lot of the references he sent her were very pornographic. ^^; I wouldn't fling that sort of thing on someone who doesn't ask explicitly to see it. *shuts up since I don't like to rag on people* |
@ harkey: glad that you're back then XD <3 and yay! :drool: i saved up for this XD; @ ferra: hahah, yah XD actually, i think he did that on gaia, too. i think he had a request thread or something and one of the art he got was very VERY yaoi XD i have nothing against that, but putting it up publicly in a pg-13 forum was just... wow. well, for me, i had problems with him personally since he IRL commissioned me once, too hahah... never again. no matter how much i need money, never again /pif. i know some of my artist friends were annoyed since he would kind of hold a slot but don't give out the reference/payment soon enough or something. so people that were ready to ask for the slot couldn't because of that. oh, well. no mas! 8D rejoice yay! |
