*nods* All good then.
Haha yeah. There's more on photobucket as well if you don't like those either. But whichever one. Really? This was just something I threw together the other day. xD |
practice is practice
|
That it is.
I should start practicing again. |
|
*squeel* omigosh! that's adorable!! <3
It looks great! |
I see a Seisei!! *smothers* <3
Oh, I forgot to mention something during the event: I bought Dissidia! :eager: |
Awe Alexa that's so cute!
:glomp: Seito ^^ Dissidia! That's awesome. I  FF. I've never played that one, how is it? |
I'm still finishing up Valkyrie Profile, so I'll tell you when I start on Dissidia. I'm looking forward to it though. =)
|
my BF played Dissidia ... in Japanese XD so he doesnt know anything about the actually story yet
but he says the game play is awesome |
I look forward to hearing about it
|
Dissida = love.
The storyline is kinda meh, but but it override by the sheer awesomeness for the characters. The camera can get a little whacky too, especially when you're up against a wall, but it's overall a pretty good game. :3 But I've put it on pause for the moment cause I'm debating whether or not to start the KH 358/2 Days or Crisis Core. |
I would say it depends on how much time you have to spare. If you're free, Crisis Core. If not so much, Kingdom Hearts. Because you can stop after every mission in KH, and each mission doesn't take that long. Crisis Core, unless I'm terribly mistaken, won't have a save point available every 15 - 20 minutes of game play. XD"
|
I choose the third option! *is picking up Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks*
Actually I don't have any time to play any at all... so I might have to wait until summer or something. :/ |
I think I'm going to get to that after Dissidia. Although, right now, I'm too busy finishing up assignments, studying for my upcoming tests, building my resume and trying to get my next job to spend a lot of time at any one point on a game. I still play, not gonna lie, but I can't spend all day on it like I want to, lol.
|
I know! I have this nice long list of games I want to tackle but school is just too demanding. Buuu. *sigh*
|
*sigh* Wait till you get to college. x__x"
|
*giggles* Already there. I just finished my midterm run.
|
Oh oops. I get used to thinking that school means just that. XD"
And midterm run is exactly where I am right now. Homework due in 20 hours, problem set due on Tuesday, research paper proposal due on Wednesday, exams on Wednesday and Thursday. Also, I have a conference this weekend, so I can't spend all weekend slowly doing my research for the proposal. My life needs to be over. D: |
I'm not in school right now XD
failed a class and didn't feel like going back to take the semester over again for 1 class that i didn't really like >> didn't like most of the classes in my program and i didn't really get a choice in taking them... I'm hoping to go back in the fall and take Western Art History :P |
Western Art History sounds cool. =3
|
*nodnod* i took modern art history last year and really enjoyed it but it was only from 1750 to now and I'm more interested in older era art :P
like the renaissance and such |
I love art from the Renaissance and before. Some modern art is cool, but some (often abstract) I just don't get why people pay millions for, lol.
|
ditto >> most of the more modern and contemporary art forms i don't really like
i liked romanticism and classicalism the most and i don't mind early impressionist art either i do not like abstract art. can't explain it but i don't, hate it even |
Ah, a lot of modern art I like is not in terms of paintings. For sculpture, glass blowing/fusing, architectural structures, object design and things like that, I feel that modern art has been quite a successful innovation.
In terms of paintings, however, I find that there is a really broad spectrum of quality. Some of the paintings people try to pass off as modern art I simply cannot appreciate because I am unable to see any artistic skill that has gone into the production of the piece. If you can spatter paint on a canvas or paint three flat squares and have it worth millions, then everyone should be making millions because I don't know anyone that can't randomly spatter paint on a canvas or paint three flat squares. =__=" On the other hand, there have been some that actually demonstrate a technique with excellent skill, such as those that work with perspectives and textures without depicting a scene like renaissance or pre-renaissance art. Those I can appreciate. |
agreed >> Pollock and Malevich XD ugh the 'black square' is probably my least favorite example of "art" ever >>
i actually watched a documentary in school about a 3 year old who sold like a couple hundred thousand dollars worth of abstract paintings >> yes a 3 year old it was really interesting actually but regardless its amazing what people will spend money on |
