:shock: did you ever find out what was going wrong? a friend of mine used to have that problem. I checked out her setup and it wasn't that. so I told her she wasn't allowed to have any anymore.

yeah, my other friend has to be very vigilant or her cat will get her fish. we have had to make several alterations to her fish tank.
I've had a few over the years get eaten by other fish. it always made me REALLY mad! |

I know it's a big help that you don't have to take a cat on walks to make sure it gets exercise and piddles outside ... and you can leave them home alone for greater periods of time and they require less care in that regard ... |

HEHEE!! *claps* I'm good! ... and remember though, cats come in all different sizes and temperaments. there are even some cats that are not only chatty, but their meow sounds more like a bark ... and my cat plays fetch.

though there are some cats that are very much like dogs in not wanting you to be gone. my kitty that I have had now since he was born and going on 14 years old, does NOT like it when I'm gone for very long. and if I am gone for more than 2 days oh WOW do I get to hear about it when I get home ... often for a whole day or two!!
