well, he'll be in the same Life Skills class, but he'll be considered 5th grade. he only goes half days, but that is still 4 hours to myself 5 days a week! time to clean, run my errands, and go to appointments.

Oh, nice. I've helped out with the Life Skills class at my high school back when I was still attending and I've got to say, every minute I've spent working with the students in there were a joy. Does he have a learning disability, and if yes, if you don't mind sharing, which one?

it's just gonna be nice to have a break. the school year goes by too fast when you are a parent. I'm trying to relax now. my sister called a bit ago telling me my grandmother had a stroke. nut my mom called me a few minutes ago and said her mom just had a mild one, but they are keeping her overnight for observation. |

Yeah, I can imagine. But then again, kids just take up a lot of time in general... so it might not even seem like having that much more free time. Wow. Two calls about the same thing in a row from different people? That's amusing. On a more serious note: I sincerely hope your grandmother's okay and will recover quickly, followed by continuing to live an extra long and full life. <3 |
I found out she has partial paralysis in her left arm. we'll have to wait and see the total extent of it. she was starting to get dementia before this happened.
shoot, any time without my son feels great. while he's at school I mean. often the day seems to go on forever and I can't wait for him to hurry up and get home. |

I'm not really sure, she hasn't let herself be diagnosed because it'll end up being bad or something. basically she was having trouble remembering some stuff and then saying other things totally out of character for her. all I know, is that I need a few hours break a day again while my son is at school. I need just a few hours, you know! |

I'm physically exhausted. my son woke me up early. little shit! why can't he just get up and quietly leave the room when he wakes up before me? why must he stay in there and mess with the cat and jump around on the bed? I'm always nice and quiet when I wake before him! Sei-Sei, make him be nice to me! :gonk:
