Sounds like a traffic jam we had here last month - literally moved maybe, a mile, in an hour - it was a nightmare! And we were on our way for my brother to take an exam xD; It was crazyyy! At least you got home safe! |

This will be my 3rd voice recording with a cold and she keeps thinking I'm saying endings I'm not, and I think it's because of my cold. It's so ridiculous :( </3 |

You could always get a ride back out to get it or walk back to get it once the traffic slowed down!! Thanks <3 Me too! It's what I had before - it just keeps coming back - it's driving me crazyyy! I mean, it's good because I'm coughing up the infection so it's not getting to my chest, but it makes it so hard to breathe and sleep so I sleep for like, 3-4 hour intervals - basically I wake up and can't breathe when Tussin is out of my system and I have to take another dose. It sucks, but if that's how I have to sleep then I guess it works for now LOL Hopefully I'm better soon though - I don't want to be sick with my cousins get here!! |

<3 Omg - so I contacted my French instructor because I've been so sick and I honestly can't talk, and I have a voice recording assignment due on Sunday as well as a ton of other work that I just don't know if I'll be able to get done in time. So I asked if I could turn the assignments I don't finish in late and still get credit, and asked what my prof. wanted me to do about the voice recording because obviously what I'm saying isn't understood because I keep getting feedback saying that I'm saying endings I'm not saying, which obviously isn't fair because it's this stupid cold or whatever it is. And this week, I don't even know if I'll be audible, so I asked if maybe I could give a written thing with it even to show what I'm saying as it's not going to be able to be understood. My professor legit copied an announcement and sent it back to me as a response. Didn't even say my name, didn't even sign the email, just copied the announcement saying no late submissions for certain work, and a penalty for other work, and left it at that. It's like wtf? Okay, I can't talk, I can barely stay out of bed for long periods of time, yet you want me to do a voice recording and submit it to you. Alrighty. I can see why there are only like, 6 people in my class and why a good portion dropped early on and switched to Spanish. This is just nuts. [end rant] |

You're talking about my dad cousin is married to the brother of the former scoutmaster of the troop my dad now runs. That my substitute teacher in elementary school turned out to marry my mom's cousin. Or my grandma went to school to my cousin's other grandma (and she knows my granny and my grandpa went to school with my great uncle). And the clerk that worked with my granny over 50 years ago is the grandmother to one of my brother's friend. xD McDonalds is awesome. I'm trying to cut back cause if I'm not careful I end up there at least once a week :P |
