I love the mythbusters, and particularly any documentary involving dinosaurs :9 bleggghhh :drool: just came back from an all day trip, my brains feel mushy... |

Mythbusters is amazing. Although I feel like they sort of ran out of ideas with the new ones... I also really miss Junkyard Wars and Battle Bots. \o/

o.o I've heard of the Mythbusters. Not any of the others. I didn't watch it very often though, every once in a while when a science teacher was feeling generous.

Junkyard wars and Battle Bots are probably 8-10 years old by now. P: Mythbusters is a bit newer and better known so that makes sense.

Ahahaha feathers/mythbusters. They sound VAGUELY similar.
In junkyard wars they were given a shop, tools and access to a big junkyard and given a challenge/vehicle/device they needed to build in 10 hours such that it could complete some task. There were two teams and at the end of the 10 hours they would use their machines to complete the task and see who did better. Tasks were things like racing hover boats across a lake, launching ostrich eggs from a canon without smashing them, etc. Very amusing. D8 Euck. You can have your squishy brain back now. |
