I have the ultimate way to stay healthy: I lack the money to buy it! XD lol! Well, actually, I'm not that healthy. I'm actually pretty overweight. Because I was born with a bit of a heart condition, and because I'm getting older, I decided to go on a diet - and do muscle training and what not - to make sure my heart doesn't croak before I want it to. ^^v See, I have this thing called and irritated heart muscle, and when I do heavy exercise in hot weather, I sometimes get serious heart palpitations and pains. I can usually stop those myself - simply by resting and calming down - but because the pain causes me to hyperventilate, it can do serious damage on my heart. If I get into that state often, I might get a heart attack. Now, I've never actually been in that state long enough (or often enough, only 3 times in my entire life) to do any damage, but I'm not gonna risk it. ^^v

...It probably is bad. XD Yes, go for a walk~

Eesu 04-18-2009 02:01 AM

O_O FORGET ABOUT EXERCISE! DON'T DIE REI. ;W;'''

xDD Heheh. Kinda wish there was hot tea. >w>

ReiyukaE 04-18-2009 02:06 AM

lol! Honestly, I won't die that easily. XD It's just that I can't do HEAVY exercise. *thinks* Last time I had that happen was after walking about 8 miles, with my clothing haven gotten wet because of the hail after the second mile. So seriously. I'm good~!

...make some?

Eesu 04-18-2009 02:19 AM

O.O; WHY YOU CONTINUE WALKING IN HAIL?

I'm lazy butt. >.>

*shakes* Getting hard keeping up with Mene and Solia now. XD

ReiyukaE 04-18-2009 02:30 AM

Because it was during a "The Great War" excursion trip with my school, and we were doing things that a troupe of soldiers in the first World War would have done. We each had a brick in our backpacks, a limited food supply, and carried around a water bottle of 10 liters. It was interesting. No one could have anticipated the hail, though. XD

I'd suggest just dropping them for a bit, then, and catching up later on?

Eesu 04-18-2009 03:19 AM

o_o ... So how did that go? Sounds like it was an interesting experience.

Haha, I'd have to catch up to a bunch of posts. xD Although I did it anyway. America's Funniest Home Videos was on.

ReiyukaE 04-18-2009 08:41 AM

It was hell. XD The teachers had mapped out a different path for each group, and the one they mapped out for the group I was in ended up going through meadows and private roads and what not. They'd just taken a map and marked the road we had to take, rather then actually checking to see if we could go that way. So we ended up crawling underneath barbed wire and walking amongst the cows and what not to get ahead. Then it start hailing, and we ran towards a farm - but the old farmer seemed to think we were some kind of bandits since he acted as if no one was at home. We took shelter in an open shed, though, before going back on our way.
It was pretty interesting in itself; I mean, the walking-bit was pretty grueling after a while, and we cried of joy when we made it to the meeting point. But the rest of the day we went to a Holocaust museum, visited a couple of cemetaries, saw some old trenches that were preserved (trenches we had to crawl through, too XD) and went to the "Menenpoort" in Ypers, where they play the "Last Post" every night to remember those soldiers that were lost in the battle, and whose bodies they could never find. It was really emotional for me, actually - I kept on seeing things such as deja-vu's, and in the museum they played a tape of bombs falling and a child weeping that shook me so badly that I almost started to hyperventilate and cry. >.<'
I felt it was a good experience, though, if only to make me even more of a pacifist then I was before. ^^'

Aaah, they air America's Funniest Home Video's here at times, too. It's been a while since I've seen it, though - because of the warm weather I've been spending a lot of time outside.

Eesu 04-18-2009 08:25 PM

Wow, sounds quite a life time experience. o.o;; I can't believe they let you do that as a school trip!! XD Sounds way too intense.

I think the most depressing thing I went to for a school trip was a penitentiary. It wasn't even that depressing. But it was kind of school to go through. They had a lot of closed sections though. D: One of them was closed off for the Halloween event. My friends and I sneaked a peek and were scared to see bodies that weren't real. XD;

^-^ That's good! Unlike me, I spend my time inside in front of the computer. u.u;;

ReiyukaE 04-18-2009 11:30 PM

You think so? I guess that most schools in Belgium feel that by teaching us about the past, we won't make the same mistakes in the future. That's probably the idea behind it. I've gone and see plenty of things having to do with both World Wars during my middle- and high-school career.

Oh my! XD Now that's something I really wouldn't want to go to.

Oh, don't get me wrong, plenty of time has been spend in front of the computer, too! XD

Eesu 04-19-2009 09:07 PM

Well, that is the point of having history classes, to learn the mistakes of the past. XD We only got lessons about the history. A lot of of which was the same thing. > 3< Nothing cool like trips.

It wasn't that bad actually. XD

Ooh, hehe!

ReiyukaE 04-19-2009 10:30 PM

I mean, I'd like to see it - but knowing myself I'd feel far too "in touch" with the people who stay there, and would be sad for them during the whole thing. ^^'

That's a shame. I think that's what makes history such a wonderful subject in school - the fact that it can come alive before your very eyes if you allow it to.

Eesu 04-20-2009 12:34 AM

Ah, yeah, I can understand.

xD Haha, history was never my favorite subject but I respect it. :3

ReiyukaE 04-20-2009 11:47 PM

It usually depended a lot on who taught the class, for me. I rather like learning about history, in itself, but I don't very much enjoy remembering the dates and such. XD I usually remember the general idea of what happened, but dates or important people never seem to stick in my memory.

Eesu 04-21-2009 09:09 PM

Hahah, I can understand that. Freshmen year, I had an awesome world history teacher, not too sure about his teacher but I thought he was an awesome man because he had a lot of stories to tell which were significant. But during my junior, my teacher was terrible (he admired the teacher I had freshmen year, too. XD). I just didn't like the way he taught which was just giving us 4 questions to answer (sometimes not even information out of book) and then talk about it in class the next day. ._. I didn't think that was a very efficient way to learn.

Haha, I never remember dates. x.x I might remember people. >.>

ReiyukaE 04-21-2009 09:56 PM

That strikes me as a very ineffective way to learn. I agree with doing at least SOME preparation before the part - as in, reading a chapter in a textbook or something - but having such a way of doing things strikes me as being lazy as a teacher. :/

Hehe, well, people maybe a little. ^,^

Arikana 04-22-2009 12:40 AM

*w*
Shiney Eesu art.. *w*

Now I just wish I had something to bribes with.. >w<;

ReiyukaE 04-22-2009 09:37 PM

Ah, that reminds me, I need to go take a look at my stuff to see if I can't bribe you. *snaps fingers* Thanks for reminding me, Arikana.

Eesu 04-22-2009 11:19 PM

@ Rei - Exactly!! ;____; Hated hated the teacher's way of teaching. Dx But he was a good person sometimes... He bought pizza for several classes some times. (I learned to sleep with my eyes open in the class. XDD)

Do you know George Washington!? O:

@ Ari - xDD

I'll be here for a while...maybe. :P

@ Rei - > w> Don't do it unless you really want to~

ReiyukaE 04-23-2009 09:09 PM

Ooh, that's an excellent skill to have! :o I'm so envious~ But bringing pizza into the class room? Yum.

George Washington, George Washington... isn't he that fellow who was the first president of the US? XD *pokes* While I may not be the brightest crayon in the box, I do know SOME names, even when they're not a part of my own countries' history. ^,^

And of course I want to do it! :o I'm just scatterbrained, is all. ^^'

Doomfishy 04-23-2009 09:10 PM

Oh my goodness, gorgeous work. ^^

I have come to chat and stuff. xD

Eesu 04-23-2009 09:30 PM

XDD It works sometimes and then sometimes it doesn't. :P Yeah, he can be real nice, just lousy at teaching.

Hahah, yay! Also, stupid me, I forgot you're not American! Grr me. XD;;

@ Doomfishy - Aw, thanks!! >w<

Oh, you're very welcome to. * w*

Doomfishy 04-23-2009 09:32 PM

I like the animated banner for this shop, too. ^^ Very nice!

ReiyukaE 04-23-2009 09:34 PM

Hehe, thats okay~ I know some things about American history, since, up until George Washington became president and the like, it was part of Europe's history. ^^

Maybe the pizza was bribe, then?

Eesu 04-24-2009 10:04 PM

@ Doomfishy - Thank you!!! >w< It was my first time making a .gif with Photoshop. I was very happy to learn it. xD

@ Rei - xDD Haha, little bit.

XDD Maybe! Only it was at the end of the year and was our reward. (>.> But he got mad at one of the students for being very lazy and lousy (he has no tolerance for it)...I was scared he was going to forget it. XD;;; He even brought his lady friend!)

ReiyukaE 04-24-2009 10:52 PM

o.O I see. Then it's not that bad - I mean, then it's most certainly not a bribe, just a nice farewell thing.
