I know - it's a great feature. Gaia would probably benefit from it but you know, why should Gaia make a feature that's also useful? (I think the last thing they did that actually was beneficial was the short cut links.)

I've never actually "quit" Gaia. I've certainly thought about it, but I just have way too many people in FG-4-PGs that I care about. I mean, not only our we Facebook friends, but also send each other Christmas cards every year. I know even some of them call each other too.

Yeah, art shops and freebies on Gaia go at crack speeds. I think after I put together my Christmas avi, I'll be ordering art from the artists on here. I couldn't help myself from ordering art of Max & Biff last night though because the girl just opened her shop and I really liked her art. I'm going to start making ref sheets for my characters - I think that's something I'll probably offer on here to since I know people have OCs.

Oh, I don't worry about my art shop on Gaia - it's not constant conversation but I've got three regulars. My cousin Midori, a guild user/facebook friend, and then a girl I met on Gaia when I first joined and kept running into x3 Hell, they're actually the reason I still have the art shop because I don't want to kill the thread and then we never talk again ;-; I'm actually going to take the shop off hiatus after I return home. I raised my prices though because I figured what the hell, if someone really wants it, they'll pay the price.

Ahhh, I've just been in and out of role plays... I mean, come on - the first person I ever role played with was bitchface and that was A.) About Flaming Snowball and B.) Done in a script format for my convenience (is that the right word? Firefox tells me it is O_o)
And as we were talking about detail early, like my art, the same sort of goes with my writing - I don't like to go into too much detail about things because I think it's overkill and I rather have the reader find out about the character instead of describing every single nook and cranny.

Oh, and about your Christmas party - I'd like to have Danielle and Kelly come over but since you guys still don't know each other that well I wasn't really sure about them coming over. I figured since Danielle's party is probably going to be before yours, if you go, you can decide to invite them or not.

It just takes time, you gotta get used to different things and such! I think you're fine now, but you'll get even better.

Actually it's looking like I won't be able to go to Danielle's party, but I'm having second thoughts about going even if I could... Emily's mom would never let her go, and I don't think I'd feel comfortable without Emily because I don't really know anyone besides you that would be there. Danielle and Kelly seem nice enough, and so does Maria, but I just... I'm not a big party goer for the first part, and I don't really know them, like you said.
Also I'm not sure if I'd be comfortable around the drinking, since I don't know them too well. If it were just you, Emily and I with a little bit of alcohol I don't think I'd be bothered, but I'm not so sure about all this...

When I first got the invite I was like :D but then I thought about it and I realized I'd be uncomfortable. But I don't want to say that directly to Danielle, because I'm afraid it might hurt everyone's feelings. Well, there's going to be drinking BUT I don't drink to the point I throw up. I sip, lol. I'm glad you understand. I don't have anything against them, I just don't know if I'm comfortable enough with them yet to be in a party atmosphere, especially if there will be drinking.. But I'm not a big party person anyway (your school-out party was the biggest party I've been to and I kind of just hung with you and Emily there, I get uncomfortable around large-ish groups of folks).

@Lady Wysteria - You know what I think would be cool for them? You made me that con badge for Ash so maybe making them con badge with their names on it and characters would be cool. Because they attend a lot of anime conventions and I feel like the badge would be really meaningful for the both of them. (Not to mention I'm still not sure what I even want to get them and I've known them since freshman year.)
If you're cool with this idea (I know you've been up & down with your drawing lately) let me know so I can recommend which characters to draw. (Kelly had OCs and there's a specific anime character I have in mind for Danielle.)

Yeah I've been feeling a little icky with my art but I'm trying to force myself into drawing so I can get back in the swing. I think it's working so far. Kingston came out a little... :/ but it was alright, at least.

@Lady Wysteria - I'm going to PM you the suggestions of characters along with references so you can start getting an idea for the badges.
I still think Kingston came out really good - I think the only thing I would comment on would be just the fact that his hair has a lot of shading while his skin is still flat colored so that contrasted a bit. But the expression is just perfect.

@Ponta: yes! the "Still Alive" song, right? I love that! I had that on my MP3 player before it exploded (my mp3 player not the song). Speaking of the companion cube: I saw some companion cube pillows. mmm, i want.
