Sorry I disappeared, everyone. The heat this past week nearly killed me.... @[email protected] I think I'm doing a bit better, but I'm a week behind drawing now. ugh >_< My area suffers from really high humidity, and it's been a little high for this time of the season. O_o The kind that melts your brain.... currently were in the 90s and the humidity's just under 50% now... much lower than it's been all week. We're supposed to have rain coming in which will cool things off again significantly. =hopes it's for a good long while=

Of course, I'm hoping we don't have the major storms we had the other week where we kept having brownouts and power surges all over... O_o;;;;

@ mewmew07: I attempted to draw your avi and no matter how hard I tried, it kept coming out wonky (the anatomy). I chalked it up to the heat and took a break from it for a few days and am trying to work on it today. I started from scratch to see if that would help and already it seems to be MUCH MUCH better! So I should have it to you soon and then start working on the other two requests. =nods=

I'm sorry that it's been real crappy for you lately, Tasia. ):
The humidity is striking here too but we've gotten the thunder/rain storms reoccuring now. The lightening is loud like a big car explosion--you can't really sleep soundlessly w/ it, same thing for the heat. x _ x; It's like always in the 90s here as well.

eh... Blowouts are horrible! :gonk: I shall wish for no power surges~!

We were unfortunate, though. With all the lightening? It kinda scinged our cable. We can't get any channels above 40 and under 50 to work anymore. /=

Cartoonnetwork, TNT, TBS, Foodnetwork are mai life. ; ^ ;

The heat's not too bad atm... it'll get worse. I've lived in a few other states besides this one (dad was in the military). I remember South Carolina as being very very hot! We could probably deal better with the heat here, but we don't have A.C., just fans, and my room's upstairs where it's the hottest. =pats her compu=

@ Torrinne: haha, yeah, I've been acclimated to NC weather for too long now. =sighs= I went to college in Virginia and never had a problem. It was always summers coming home, lol! But, I have to say, the last few years have just been incredibly hot. Or, I should say, humid. Since the humidity is really what the issue is, lol. I used to live in Chicago years ago. I remember the cold..... O_________O And I've gone camping in cold weather. I just don't always like being in the cold without a break. >_< Same with the heat. I can tolerate it just fine, as long as I can get a break once in a while. The house we're in now is very old. No built in AC, OLD heater (it's almost as tall as I am and is the original heater), and the upstairs, where my room is, is just a converted attic.... and they didn't bother putting the piping upstairs for heat. So... basically... we(those of us upstairs) freeze in the winter and burn in the summer. =wishes for just a SMALL bit of mediocrity=

And for all that... I have a soft spot for old houses, hahaha!!! So much character.

@ mewmew07: Oh no, it's not your avatar! I really think it was the heat and all throwing me off. The angles just looked weird in my sketch. But I've already starting sketching a fresh one and it's coming along MUCH better. I'll probably be borrowing the eyes from the original one just cause they should fit fine, haha.

Yes! They came today and said we can't do anything about it unless we pay for a box. Apparently, a majority of US ppl had a vote that they'd go digital--so, now you can't have regular cable unless you pay for a box. So now my mom said she's going to go ahead and cancel the cable 'cause she doesn't want to pay for a box. . _ .

WB hosts Supernatural. We do get that channel, but hardly watch it. Same for Reba. Right now I'm pining away for Fringe until the fall season starts... *____* I'm also =sniff sniff= sad over the end of 24. I shall miss it, yush!

Well... we do have a small AC unit. (A 110, I think...) But mum won't put it in until the hottest part of the summer. Even then it only works in one room, haha! Which we usually close off so it stays cold. Otherwise, we just tough it out and use fans. The house is old, so it really can't handle too much. We had another AC, but it quit on us last year. Either that or my dad broke it and doesn't wanna admit it... =shifty eyes=

=hugs= And I've been calling my room a sauna! ho ho ho ho!
