i love how we're all complaining about global. i have to complain too. `cos i too, have a stupid global project that's completely ruining the lives of everyone in my class `cos it's a class project wth. it's because of this stupid project that i brought my camera to school on thursday & that's when it broke omg. global class should die D: T_T plus i just failed my global test. so that doesn't help >< |

HAPPY EARTH DAY!
Do YOU know what’s special about April 22? It’s Earth Day! So, what’s so special about Earth Day? Well first of all, it’s supposed to be something you learn about in school, but since we don’t have school, I’ll tell you about it c(x. Earth Day is a day specially set aside so we can learn about Earth and how we can stop ourselves from killing it, which we are all doing now, whether we realize it or not D=. How are we killing it? We waste paper and ink, for starters. Next time you print something, draft it and double-side it. Save some money and save some trees! Next up: electricity. Turn out the lights when you don’t need them. I know you’ve all heard this before; do it. Oh and you can be cool change to florescent lighting to save energy =D. Speaking of saving energy, here’s a thought: decide what you want before you open the refrigerator =O. You waste a lot of energy by keeping it open while you pick what you want. My final thought: balloons. Don’t let the balloons fly away! You can inhale the helium [just not too much…] or do whatever else you might want to do with it, but just don’t let it fly away. What comes up will eventually come down and these balloons are probably gonna come down on some poor animal who ends up choking on it. Don’t ignore this; listen to it. Or else in like 2O years or something when we all end up dying because the Earth is all messed up, you’ll know that you helped kill the Earth. Our planet is beautiful; don’t mess it up for everyone.

Of course on the flip side of the coin, the Earth probably won't be killed during our generation or our childrens' generation and perhaps even our grandchildren's generation. Whatever happens after that, well, no one really cares about as long as it doesn't directly involve them. By the time it is made obvious about the damage we've done to the Earth, it will be far too late and those here now will be long gone.

lol but that was my bio hw; to raise awareness about earth day >< the earth might be killed in a bit we read freaky articles [other part of bio hw] about how all the ice is melting D: & how eveything is going to flood, in my exaggerated way of speech but you know how people's lives are getting longer? what if we do live to see the earth die? |
