According to my teacher, humans and monkeys share a common ancestor BUT humans do not descend from monkeys themselves or something like that. Another interesting fact, dinosaurs apparently didn't go extinct but are what we now call birds because apparently they found some fossil with dinosaur having feathers, something like that. Of course, it's very amusing comparing dinosaurs and pigeons of today. Oh, how the mightiest have fallen. Bwahahaha

Dinosaurs weren't mighty by evolutionary standards.
Insects have been around since the beginning, and sadly show more signs of durability.
The cockroach for example. Ants are also a wonderful example.
though bugs still gross the heck out of me.
