Uhh I've had the worst cold ever since monday XD I think one of the friends I invited to my party Sunday made me ill. xP Ive been bored but too tired to do much of anything but sleep until today, when I've been cranking jrock music enough to get my spirit up to draw. Soooo, I'm working on Merelia's first for some reason since I had a good idea for a pose I thought would be cute. So much for working in order, lol. But whenever the mood strikes go for it right? ^^
And this artist hiring announcement is neat and makes me ponder applying, but I'm not sure since my school work takes up a good deal of time. I might get more money out of commissions on devart and here than if I were to join the site. I don't like how they own my art if I get contracted, makes me worry they would sell merchandise and not give a % of the merchandise to the artist hired. Has anyone else worried about that? xD |

Sapphyre800Sorry for the late response, the costume would be like a hoodie, but well the story about the green squirrel costume, well...yeah.....
Rant: My friends and I are anime freaks. Total anime freaks. So we are sitting at our regular lunch table and we all decide to start talking about our OCs, and luck has it that 3 of us can draw really well and are girls, so we start digging in our backpacks for images of our Ocs that we have drawn. Veronica (the best artist out of all of us) pulls out this totally awesome Naruto based OC and is like "In Your Faces!" because she knows she rocks at drawing. Then Taylor pulls out this really awesome sketch of her OC and is all "Ooh, you wish this was yours!" and has this huge grin on her face. Then frank pulls out a picture of his gaia avatar that he printed out, and for some reason shoved into his backpack, and Cryatal does the same O.o Now when I go to bring out a picture of my OC I was like CRAP, because I had just hit a brick wall. I hadn't really ever thought of an OC for Me, but I had made plenty for other people, so I pulled out a bunch of sketches of random people that I had drawn and was like "bam?!?" but Frank totally saw through me. He said that none of the sketches were my OC, and I had to confess. So that night when I went home, I had a bunch of ideas running through my head about what I wanted for an OC. I started playing around with ideas based off of squirrels because that is my nickname at school, squirrel, I am very hyper and crazy and all that, plus I can climb almost anything and can talk super fast in a squeaky voice, so I became known as squirrel. nd well I played around with that idea, so I came up with Demari. Demari is actually the name of the OC I have finally come up with. She is a very unatural girl and is super smart, quite like me, but she has a demon squirrel inside of her, idea off of Naruto: demaon fox inside him XP, well anyway the demon's chakra is green, so the squirrel ended up being green. |
Oh I was just curious if the squirrel costume covers her head like a mascot or if it goes over her head more like a hoodie, with her face visible. I have to say its a bit of a unique costume idea to me. 8D
Okay, tomorrow will be a busy busy day for me much like today was, and I will be moving back to college and setting up my room all over again since I changed rooms from last semester. Since all I had time to do was throw my stuff on the floor before break ended I have to spend all of tomorrow sorting and setting it up again, I will be on a one day haitus from mene, haha. I will be back Wednesday and hopefully working on my last 2 orders between classes and at night! n____n Also I am now available for IRL commish via my deviantart journal for as low as $1, so check it out all you paypal users! XD I doubt this warrants an announcement at all, lol, but I will see you all wednesday, lol. XDD <33 |
