Actually, they did. XD If the husband is what we call, marry into the bride's family. It is just not common in western.

Like in japan, there are a few men change their surname to their wife, and most often, the wife is from a better family than the husband. thus the why.

I never changed my last name. We thought seriously for a little bit about combining our last names into a combo of both. but decided against it. I get annoyed sometimes when people refer to me as "Mrs. Scotts last name" because it;s not my name damn it!

Oh well, the most cases I had seen is Japan's Detective Conan! LOL. there are a few rich families, in which their son in law are following their wives' surname instead. And I do think it really happens in real life.

All you really need to know is his hair, ears, and tail are all orange.
The diamond thingie/tattoo/sticker on his cheek is white.
And you could color everything else whatever color you want.
