No, xuv. Sharks fin soup is SOUP, not stew. I have no idea how to explain it unless I'm right next to you. But do you know of the chinese dish, where you use pork ribs and you boil with bean paste added with water and other miscellaneous stuff? And then the vinegared pork trotters Lue was talking about. A little sour but sweet, dark sauce, usually found in bak kut teh stalls. Has a smell. I'm pretty sure you have eaten stew at least once in your life, xuv. It comes with most chinese cooking.
