Yes, Harvest Moon has 2 GBA games. One is you playing as a male, the other as a female. ^_^
It can last FOREVER. Depending on your patience for the game. XD

My first Harvest Moon game was for the PS1 though, HM: Back to Nature.

Well "good" being anything that keeps your attention throughout the whole game,keeps moving along,and doesn't "bore" you,rofl,Something that makes you not wanna stop playing because you wanna know what happens next~ That,would be a "good" storyline,to me,and yes,I've seen most of one of the animes :3

Hmm.... the training part might a little tiring (since when wasn't it? XD). But it's not as tiring and repetitive as Pokemon.

The main character's attitude, Haseo, might be a little annoying in the first game. But after that he gets MUCH better and he actually became likable. =]

About Harvest Moon, well, there's the gender difference. And because there is the wooing and marriage option in the game, when you play the male, you get to woo the girls, when you're playing the girl, you get to woo the guys! ^_^
The farming, animal breeding, television activities, the hidden cut scenes, foraging and others are mostly the same though.

Yes! Forever. As long as you do not get bored of the game. XD
There is the 100 year bonus for the game, I believe. I never managed. rofl

It's inevitable. And not for my bro who is very impatient when it comes to games. lol

I like being over-leveled. It makes the rest of the game play MUCH easier if you are at least a few levels higher than you should be. I have to say am super patient when it comes to training. I can train on the same spot for an hour (mostly thanks to Pokemon). XD

The wooing part is fun! Then when you actually marry, in the PS2/Nintendo DS games for Harvest Moon, you can get a child(children)!

Well, I wouldn't say there's much 'fun' things happening to me lately, but what was interesting was a restaurant incident me and my friends had. It was in a Japanese restaurant. My friend who ordered a dish that comes with salad did not want the thousand island dressing, as she could not consume egg so she was requesting for lemon wedges instead. It went something like this...

Friend 1: *calls for waiter* Excuse me, may I have a few lemon wedges?
Waiter A: *stares blankly* ... You mean.. pickles?
Friend 1: *twitch* No. Lemon wedges. You know, to squeeze onto the salad?
Waiter A: *blinks blankly* *calls the manager*
Me & Friend 2: *raises eyebrow*
Manager: Yes, did you need help?
Friend 1: May I have lemon wedges, please, for the salad?
Manager: *a moment of silence* We... do not have lemon wedges, only lemon slices.
Friend 1: *twitchtwitch* Yes, yes. That will do, thank you.

And the manager went to get the 'lemon slices'. When it came, it was lemon, cut in thick wedges.

Friend1,Friend2 and I: *stares at lemon wedges*
Friend2: You know, if these were lemon slices, I am curious to know how their lemon wedges look like.
Me: Most probably the entire lemon, sans the top and bottom.

Magnus has a scar on the base of her neck, and sometimes wears an eyepatch or sunglasses to cover up the fact that she has two different colored eyes.
