Well, to jump in... I think having backbone in such situations is probably best, although jumping at them from the start isn't the right thing to do, either. For myself, I probably would've snapped at them a little sooner, but I'd probably done the same things you did, Maria... At least, if they were my friends. If I'd just met them, I'd just not bother with them after a while and start annoy them as much as they were bothering me.

@ Rei - Well, it all depends on how persistent they are. If it stops after a few minutes, I'll let it slide and not bring it up for a while. If it keeps going into all hours of the night... Well, I'm a bitchface without my sleep. XD

Hm, true enough. xd Then I'd probably snapped after the first week.

It was horrible. It wasn't so bad at the begining - maybe once a week. Then it back 2 days...3 days...4 days...5 days a week. If one of them wasn't there their friends WERE and so it would be just as loud. Unfortunatly - I didn't get to pick my roommates and so I was stuck with strangers. D: But next year, luckily, I'm with friends.

I with you Dystopia - I get SUPER cranky when I'm tired. and so when I finally did snap at them I was SUPER mad D: Because it was three in the morning. and I had to get up at 6 for school the next day. I didn't get to sleep until about 5 in the morning and I didn't go home the next day until after midnight. So I was SO tired. D:

and for the teal - browns would work too. maybe. I have dresses in real life that are brown with teal an aqua accents. :D XD

@ Maria - The brown would kinda intrude on the soft, light theme that I'm trying to go for. D8

Yeah, that's why I suggested silvery tints. Maybe a pastel blue might work, too, although I don't think they have that here.
Brown does work nicely with teal, but it's too "hard".

@ Rei - XD Mene should stop getting obnoxious inyourface colors and start working on those soft, pretty colors.

True enough. Part of me likes the bright colours if only because they're cheerful and I don't make soft-coloured avi's, in general. But a larger palette would be better.

I actually wanted to use the Phoenix at first, but then I decided I want a 'quieter' colored avatar.

@Dys - I want that phoenix - but no one is selling XD But yeah - I love making red-themed avvies so I would totally utilize it. I love the unicorn - but I never do teal or blue avvies. I only ever do red....black/red.....greentheme. XD

If you want a soft avvie - yeah - brown would work. I agree with Rei - silvers might work. Even some of the softer golds.

and I agree with you - they need to start making clothing that matches everything else. They get new sets and they don't match anything but each other and so it's hard to use them without using a billion pieces from the same collection.

It's hard for my green avvie - I only have longevity pieces and artemis pieces to choose from for the green that I want. that's why I'm bringing in black and gold as well. I need three more pieces before this avvie is complete finally. XD
