I honestly never really thought of it that way -- I mean, I'm the same way -- that's why my quest is so long / expensive -- I have a TON of evolving items on it that I can't buy right now due to the AFK :3

I'm not one to watch the market either, at least not anymore. When I was more active on Gaia I did keep an eye on it quite a lot, but not lately.

I just always go by the lowest in the market -- it's a lot easier to just save up a bunch of gold and go for the lowest in the marketplace at the time I wanna purchase something than to watch the market for a few weeks and decide what price I want to purchase at 'cause when I want an item, I want it asap xD |
Well, usually I check the marketplace when I start saving for the item, but then when I go to buy it, sometimes the price is higher. Then I wait until it's lower again.

I'm a lot better with real money than virtual money. Though, then again, I just blew about 300k on items I wanted on Gaia, so that might not be a good comparison. ^,~
